Crossing the road using the underpass for the first time.

It's a different experience. I was crossing an underpass for the first time. It was very scary and intrigued me. There was a fear in my mind that the ground might crush me, and curiosity about crossing the underpass for the first time. I noticed it in the Banani area of Dhaka. It is located near the Kachukhet area. The name of this road is Swadhinata Smroni Road. It was built under the leadership of the Bangladesh Army to ensure the safety of people crossing. This is a great way to safely cross the road without having to ignore the speed of busy traffic on the moving road.

I have a long way to go. Because it was a long, winding road. The entire road was flowing from under the ground. Anyway, I captured a picture outside before entering here. Its roof is made entirely of LED glass. During the day, its interior is quite clear and bright. When sunlight hits glass, it creates brighter light inside through total internal reflection. However, it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is constantly present to ensure the safety of people crossing. There is uninterrupted power supply here at night.

I started to enter inside. I began to enter with a very curious attitude. The sound intensity inside was more than double. Even if you speak very softly here, you can still be heard loudly. Anyway, I was impressed by the two methods for entering here. There are stairs for able-bodied people and wheelchair access for the disabled. The stairs next to the one I was entering were steep. This is mainly designed for wheelchair users. This is a humanitarian act, so everyone is given equal attention. This improved road crossing system will protect people from accidents.

After entering it, I was observing many images. Since there is no transportation system here, it is quite a long way though. People must walk through it. And that's why various paintings have been placed on the walls to relieve the eyestrain of pedestrians. The eye-catching paintings make pedestrians forget their fatigue. Notice some images below.

1000004898.jpgThe boat is stranded due to lack of water.
1000004904.jpgThe road is gray in the dry season.
1000004902.jpgWater is coming down from the heights of the forest.

Such images seem to relieve the mental fatigue of pedestrians. I was walking inside and noticing these images. It was as if they were speaking to my mind. Different images gave different forms to my mind. It refreshed my mind. I was going to see the beautiful scene on the wall. I was almost halfway there. At that time, I captured a long photo of the narrow underpass. It is easy to see here that the underpass is illuminated in daylight. There is no lighting system operating here during the day. At night, a high-luminance lighting system is used here. It is mainly illuminated by illuminated glass installed above the underpass. I continued walking along the inner road, fear in my heart that the ground might press down on me. Anyway, I walked down the road, overcoming my fear. As I walked inside for a while longer, I noticed several arrangements.

Since it is entirely for human safety, maintaining it is also a fundamental responsibility of humans. It has a system in place to guide pedestrians in case of any accident. If a fire suddenly breaks out this deep inside, your primary firefighting system is here. That is, fire extinguisher cylinders have been stuck in several gaps in the walls. If a passerby notices that there is a fire inside, he should try to put out the fire with this fire extinguisher cylinder. This will initially allow the pedestrian to control the fire. There were also other arrangements here. I noticed several exhaust fans and mini ACs inside. These are opened during the hottest times of the year and offer a comfortable ride to pedestrians inside.

This is one of the safest measures for pedestrians. This is an easy way to cross the road easily in a noise-free environment. I am quite happy to cross the road through this aesthetic underpass. I see it as a symbol of a simpler and better way of life for the people of my country.
Thank you very much for reading my post. May everyone be well and healthy always by the grace of God. I end here with my wishes for everyone's long life.
