Greeting my dear friends. Welcome to a winter afternoon in the village. Today I will share with you some of the time spent in my village that day in the afternoon I walked around the village road with my family members and enjoyed the beauty of the village. So now I am presenting to you about such a beautiful moment.

The name of our village is Arjuna which is located in Tangail district and the huge river Yamuna flows through this village which adds to the beauty of this village. Moreover, this river is very important in the agricultural work of our village. However, today I went out in the afternoon to walk around the entire village through some other roads of our village instead of walking along the banks of our river. A two minute walk from our house is a paved road that is paved with pitch, which is used by buses, trucks and small vehicles going to Dhaka.

Our village market is on the opposite side of Pitch Road and our Union Parishad is located next to that market. Hey, there is a banyan tree next to the union council which I have been seeing since childhood. If I grew up in the city but still when I came to visit the village sometimes, I would walk in this market and I would stand next to the banyan tree because I like banyan tree very much.

After reaching the market of our village Arjuna I heard several kittens calling in a shop there and I went there. Basically cat is an animal that I like and love so much that the call of cat takes me to it. I myself have kept cats in our house for more than 13 years and these little kittens are crying for lack of food so I go to them and buy some food from the store and feed them. Although the kittens were too young to need liquid milk, I still fed them all the food that kittens could eat.

Basically these kittens were born around this shop so the shopkeepers constantly feed these kittens and I got to know that these cats suffer a lot in winter which I felt very bad to know.

Then I held a sick kitten there and cuddled it for quite some time. I was very excited to see the cats because the mother of the cats was not there and they were calling a lot. Moreover, if my house was in the village, I would have taken these cats to my house, for which I was quite helpless. So we spent most of the afternoon wandering around with this cat as we failed to see the inner sights of the village.

After spending some time with the cats we all started walking along the village road leaving the kittens and some food in front of them. We were basically walking through the ablution road of the village and could see the sun in the western sky that would set in the western sky in no time.

I was very happy to spend such a wonderful time with family members on a winter afternoon as we walked the village streets and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Afternoon walk, dusk falls in no time and we cross our village to shop and reach a nearby village market. As I was accompanied by many other members of my family, I was spending my time with great joy and fearlessness. Going to the market shop we saw a dog standing next to us and the dog looked hungry. I love these street animals because they are so innocent and deprived of society. Then I bought a few packets of biscuits from the hungry dog who ate the biscuits and looked at me very lovingly which I liked a lot. If I can feed all these animals on the road, I feel self-satisfied. Then patting the dog's head, we moved forward.

The nearby village bazaar we visited was closed that day as the bazaar is closed one day a week on the day of our visit. It is said that our luck was bad that day so we could not go to other shops in the market. Then we went in front of a small shop in the market where some of our favorite food was being fried in oil. Then we bought and ate several oil foods from there which tasted of average quality.

As evening was getting late we needed to go back home so we finally went to another tea shop as tea is our favorite. Moreover, currently the demand for tea is a little higher during winter, so we went to a small tea shop in the market where there were some other customers besides us. This tea shop was located on the banks of the river Yamuna so the surrounding was quite good and we felt a light cool breeze.

1000027592.jpg

Me and my family members basically like milk tea so much that we go to tea shop and order tea for us. Tea is served in on-time glasses for walking down the street and costs 10 BDT / 0.32 Steem per cup of tea. In no time we have what we have in hand and we sip our cups of tea in the winter night. To be honest what was here was quite nice and we all appreciated the tea quite a bit.

Finally we set off on foot to return to our home. It was very difficult for me to walk outside on a winter night because the winter was very severe in the village. Besides, sometimes the cold gentle wind blowing from the river bank was making my body shiver. Then we finished the tour and returned home by eight o'clock.
