Dear Friends, I Hope Everyone is well. Alhamdulillah, I am also very well. Welcome everyone to my new post. Today I am here to share with you something about our blessed month of fasting, let's get started.....!

The 5 pillars of Islam are: Kalima, Namaz, Fasting, Hajj and Zakat. Sawm is the third of the 5 pillars of Islam. Sawm is an Arabic word meaning restraint, Sawm means abstinence, self-restraint, purification. Fasting is the abstinence from all kinds of eating, drinking, sinning, lust, sensual pleasures and all pleasures from dawn to sunset. According to Islamic law, it is obligatory for every adult Muslim to fast every day during the month of Ramadan. Through fasting we can develop a sweet relationship with Allah. The month of Ramadan is the month of virtue, this month is the month of acceptance of prayers, so we should worship more in this month and try to create a sweet relationship with Allah. The holy month of Ramadan started in Bangladesh yesterday with Tarawi prayers.

By eating Sehri, we fast with intention for the pleasure of Allah. After fasting all day without eating or drinking, after sunset, everyone breaks their fast by breaking their fast. Iftar is organized differently in different countries. Iftar in Bangladesh consists of various items such as eggplant, potato chops, onions, boots, dates, various types of sorbets and various fruits are the main items. After that they arrange many types of food items as per people's choice during their Iftar. Today we also organized some Iftar at our house which we prepared ourselves at home. With mom and me in our family, we didn't need much iftar. By the grace of Allah I was able to prepare Iftar fairly well. I have shared some of its pictures with you. Fasting is basically a month of mercy, the main point of this month is to gain Allah's pleasure by doing more worship. So all of us adult Muslims should fast and pray more and more every day of Ramadan.

We should eat nutritious food during Ramadan.Eating nutritious food helps us get rid of the fatigue of the day and does not cause any physical harm.Bananas, apples, oranges, and guavas contain a lot of nutrients that are very beneficial for our body.
