Starting off by wishing good health to all Steemit friends. A great contest has been organized in Steem for Bangladesh community on transportation system. Today I will share about my country's transport system through this contest. Through this contest various users can learn about their country's transport system. So thank you @solaiman brother for organizing this great contest. So let's get started.

What kind of fuel is your country's transport powered by?

Transport is the means of transportation. The importance of transport in the economic development of the country is immense. The transport system has a close relationship with the socio-economic and political conditions.

There are different types of transport by land. The fuel system of transport is given below.

CNG is usually powered by natural gas. Which is available at gas pump stations in different places.
Buses, trucks and microbuses run on petrol-like liquids like diesel, octane as fuel. Sometimes gas is also used.
Another popular transport in our country is motorcycle and this motorcycle runs on diesel or octane liquid.
Autorickshaw transport is powered by electric charge.

Bangladesh is a riverine country, so people have been traveling through waterways since ancient times.

Waterways include boats and launches, which are generally powered by engines.
Bangladesh Railway uses diesel as fuel for trains. Our journey through train transport is easy and hassle-free.
Aviation is usually powered by jet fuel. Jet fuel basically refers to refined kerosene-based fuel. So it is said that the aircraft is powered by jet or kerosene.

Which mode of transport is more popular in your country?

There are various modes of transportation in our country. There are different modes of transportation such as land, rail, air and water. These routes also have different modes of transportation. About which I mentioned earlier. Different modes of transport are popular in different regions of the country. For example, river transport is more popular in regions where river transport is more. However my house is located in Gazipur district. So autorickshaw mode of transport is more popular in our region.

Auto rickshaws: Auto rickshaws are the most popular in our region. Any short distance can be traveled by auto rickshaws. Common people usually travel short distances most of the time. Moreover, auto rickshaw travel cost is also reduced. Auto rickshaws are generally preferred by many passengers for their features. Auto rickshaws are open so passengers do not have to suffer from physical ailments. Besides, this auto rickshaw is very easily available in the region so it is popular with everyone in our region.

Tell us about at least three modes of transportation that exist in your area.

Motorcycle: In our region people mostly use their own motorcycle for commuting. Traveling by motorcycle is less expensive. The cost depends on the type of motorcycle. But approximately a motorcycle can go 40 kilometers on one liter of octane. Moreover, the transportation system of motorcycles is very comfortable, easy and enjoyable. Also, it is possible to travel very fast through motorcycles.

Auto rickshaws and CNG: Auto rickshaws ply on the roads in our region. CNG is also available. But for long-distance travel, passengers usually use CNG. The practice is more from the past. As the auto rickshaw is driven due to electric charge, its carrying cost is also reduced. Therefore, common people can easily go from one place to another by auto rickshaw.

Bus: Bus is a mass passenger mode of transport. Buses can carry a lot of passengers so the cost of travel is also low. Moreover, buses are operated for long-distance travel. The transport system is started by understanding the distance traveled. Buses are generally not private vehicles, they are public vehicles.

What is the cost of transportation used in your area?

Various modes of transport operate in our area. These include motorcycles, auto-rickshaws, CNG, trains and buses. Motorcycles are usually private vehicles.

A motorcycle can go 40 km with one liter of octane. One liter of tin is priced at Tk 125 with a steem price of 6.25.
One kilometer in our region by autorickshaw or CNG costs about Tk.20 with a steem price of 1.

A local train ticket from one station to another station costs 20 rupees with a steem price of 1.
Public bus usually costs a minimum of 5 rupees for a passenger to travel one kilometer which is the steem price. 25.
