Peace be upon you. To all my Steamian friends, I hope you are doing well by the boundless mercy of our Creator. Alhamdulillah, by Allah's mercy and your prayers, I am also doing very well.

I am @saniya9, also known as Shamima Khan. I am a teacher and a student, a volunteer, and also a blogger. I really love photography. I capture every moment of my daily life with my camera. Today is the eighth day of the holy month of Ramadan. I have come here to share my day’s moments with you. So, let’s get started.

Today I woke up at three in the morning. This is because everyone in the family gathers to have Sahur together. After finishing Sahur, everyone gets busy with their own tasks. Then, upon hearing the beautiful call to prayer of Fajr, we all freshen up and perform our prayers. After completing the prayers, we recite some verses from the Quran and then fall asleep. I woke up again at eight in the morning because I had a computer class today. I woke your son up, freshened him up, and gave him his breakfast. Then I headed towards my father’s house with him. This is because the computer training center is located right next to my father’s house. After reaching my father’s house, I left your son with his grandmother and went to my computer class.

I have been focusing on computers; I enrolled about three months ago. During this time, I have attended many theme and practical classes. However, typing in Bengali on the computer was not that easy for me. This is because Bengali typing involves conjunct consonants, and we need to join another letter with it, which became difficult for me on the computer keyboard. However, slowly and with more practice, I have managed to overcome this. Today, I progressed from creating words on the computer to forming sentences. Since I am a new student, it takes me a lot of time to type. Nevertheless, I returned home after my computer class ended.

After coming home, I saw my son playing with his brother at the shop. Then I wandered around my father's house for a bit, and I noticed that our jackfruit tree had produced a lot of good jackfruits this time. Seeing this filled my heart with joy. After that, my father gave my son some snacks from the shop. I took those and set off towards my in-laws' house with my son. On the way, I visited my senior madam again. Since she had called me for class, I handled the children's class for a month. For that, she paid me two thousand taka. Anyway, I felt very good about being able to fulfill my hobby alongside teaching. After discussing a few matters with the madam, I returned home.

In the afternoon, I came home and fed my son lunch. Later, I gave him a bath and dressed him nicely before putting him to sleep. Then I freshened up, prayed, and rested for a while. After that, I went to cook for iftar. I helped my mother-in-law with all the work to lessen her burden. Then we both cooked everything beautifully for iftar.

When it was time for iftar, our family gathered together, and we had iftar. After iftar, everyone prayed as they liked and rested for a while. These were the moments of my day today.
