Betterlife - The Diary Game | 21 May, 2025 | Going to the hospital for my mother's diagnostic tests and helping a friend check the quality of bedsheets.

Assalamualaikum friends, Two weeks ago, my mother fell ill, so I consulted a gynecologist. The doctor prescribed some tests to be done after 14 days. So, after having breakfast, I took my mother and headed towards IHAS(Institute of Applied Health Sciences Hospital), reaching the hospital around 10:30 AM.

First, I went to the reception and showed them the doctor's prescription, getting all the tests entered. A little later, I was given a receipt and told to go to the medical pathology section. The total cost for all the tests with a discount, was 1350 Bdt/73.88 STEEM.

I took my mother and waited outside the ultrasonography room. We submitted a part of our receipt there and then were given a serial number. A medical nurse suggested my mother drink plenty of water to ensure accurate results.

I arranged for my mother to drink water. We had to wait outside for about 30 minutes until our turn came. That's when my mother gave me an orange from her bag to eat. A mother truly knows how to take care of her children. I ate the orange while my mother was having her test.

There was one more test remaining. After giving the sample for that, we left the medical center and reached home around 2 PM. I freshened up and had my lunch. After a short rest, I went out in the afternoon to buy some snacks for our house.

There wasn't much for an afternoon snack at home, so I thought I'd get something from outside without telling my mother. I went directly to the Bhatiari market, to a supermart where you can find any item at any time. There are only two such supermarts in our entire area.

I thought of getting something like dry cake but then I saw the savory items and changed my mind. I bought six chicken rolls for everyone in our house. Cold drinks go delicious with savory items, so I also got a 2-liter Clemon drink and a 1-liter Coke. My total food bill came to 280 Bdt/15.32 STEEM.

After returning home, I had a light snack and then went to the mosque for Maghrib prayers. After returning from the mosque, a friend of mine asked me to accompany him to a mini-market and I decided to go with him. We didn't delay and went straight to the market area.

My friend needed a bedsheet and had never bought one before, so he brought me along to check the quality. We first went to the mini-mart but the prices were too high for my friend's budget, so we went to the outside market. I helped him check and buy a good quality bedsheet from there.

My friend offered me something to eat but since I wasn't hungry, I didn't eat anything and returned home. Then I performed my night prayers and had dinner with my family. A little while later, I prepared for bed. As of today I'm leaving here. Wish you all good health, everyone
