Betterlife - The Diary Game | 21 February, 2025 | Two events on Friday...

Assalamu Alaikum. This Friday, on my day off I attended two events, one during the day and one at night. The first event was a discussion and council session organized by Bangladesh Islami Chhatrasena. This special program was arranged on the occasion of International Mother Language Day, February 21st.

Since it was a holiday, I spent the morning at home. After performing the Jummah prayer and returning home for lunch, I left without delay to participate in the council session. The program was held in the hall of Mohammadia Sunnia Madrasa in the Banubazar area.

The program started around 2:30 PM and was divided into two parts. In the first part, senior members delivered their valuable speeches on the language movement and International Mother Language Day and urged everyone to come forward from their respective positions to improve the current unstable situation in Bangladesh.

From 4:30 PM, the second part of the program the council session began. I had served as the Vice President of the Bangladesh Islami Chhatrasena Union level for the 2023-2024 session. I was re-appointed as the President of our Union level community for the next session. All the members of the new panel were given an official report book, which detailed the work of everyone in the previous panel.

The program ended around evening and we all performed prayers together in the madrasa mosque. After that, I left the mosque area to return home. By then, it was quite late and I had to attend another event at night.

After returning home and freshening up, my younger brother brought me a meat box. He had brought it from a newly launched food cart in our locality. Inside, there were several vegetables and other items. Although the amount of meat was less compared to the size of the box but it tasted very delicious.

Then after performing my evening prayer, I started getting ready to attend another event without delay. It was a wedding program, the ceremony of one of my close uncles. The program was held in a community center.

Since our entire family was invited, I stopped at a gift shop midway to buy a wedding gift. The shop had a variety of gift items. However, I felt that I should give something as a gift that would be useful in the newlywed's new home. So I bought a dinner set and had it wrapped with gift paper with the help of the shopkeeper.

Upon reaching the community center, I had my dinner. Many of our relatives had come there, with whom I exchanged greetings. A beautiful stage was set up for the bride and groom. The dazzling decorations and colorful lighting all around were quite impressive.

After the program, I returned home with my family. Upon returning, I first put my clothes away in their proper place. Then I completed my regular night prayers. Before going to sleep, I prayed to the Almighty for contentment and forgiveness, and then went to bed. As of today I'm leaving here. Wish you all good health, everyone.
