Betterlife - The Diary Game | 21 April, 2025 | Getting tested at the diagnostic center and spending the afternoon by the river.
That morning, my elder sister suddenly started having stomach pain. She mentioned that she had eaten spicy food at a dinner the previous night. I don't like neglecting illnesses, even minor ones. It's better to treat early, otherwise the problems can worsen later.
After having breakfast, I didn't delay and took my sister out to see a doctor. The doctor asked us to do a test. So, I went to Epic Health Care, which was next to the doctor's chamber, to get the test done.

Our appointment was at 11:30 AM. Several people were ahead of us, so we had to wait there for quite some time. Finally, around 12:30 PM, my sister's turn came and she entered the designated room for her test.
After the test, they asked us to come back after an hour for the report. By then, it was almost lunchtime, so the two of us went to a nearby restaurant for lunch. I recently wrote a blog about this restaurant; you can visit it if you like.

I ordered two separate biryanis for my sister and myself, and we spent some time there until we paid the bill. I really liked the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. Then, we went back to the diagnosis center. Although the report was supposed to be given after an hour, we received it after a further delay. Finally, with the report in hand, we visited the doctor's chamber and showed it to her.

The doctor informed us that there was no major issue, the pain was due to gas in the stomach. She prescribed some common medicines. It was 3 PM then, and we had enough time. So, I wanted to go somewhere nearby. We decided to go to the Chittagong Boat Club.
Due to some traffic on the way, it took us an hour to reach there. The sky was very cloudy that day and a cold breeze was blowing all around. Since the Boat Club has a very open environment, it felt great to walk around and sit by the river, enjoying the water in front.

I will soon pin this place on the Steem-Atlas map. We spent the entire afternoon there. After having some light snacks, we started our journey back. When we reached the market area on our way back, I realized that I needed to change my phone's protector glass because this type of curved glass is not available in the shops in our area.

We went to the second floor of Alankar Market, where there are many mobile and accessories shops. Since my phone has a curved display, the protector needs to be applied with glue. To prevent the glue from getting stuck, it's better to change it every few months even if it's not cracked. I had changed the previous one six months ago. A technician applied the glass, and it cost 300 Taka.

It was almost 7 PM when everything was done, so we didn't delay any further and started heading home. On the way, I dropped my sister off at her in-laws' house. After returning home and freshening up, I completed my remaining prayers and then had dinner. As of today I'm leaving here. Wish you all good health, everyone.
