The Shopping Game -Season 10 | Shopping for My Body Lotion :19-3-2025.

Shopping for my body lotion and body wash came with two simple calculations; choice and personal preference. I noticed the last cream I bought was too strong for my sensitive skin leading to unnecessary reactions. While that wasn't totally finished, I needed to change to a mild and gentle moisturising lotion suitable to my skin type. Let's have a ride to Judel Supermarket, IFA Atai by Airport Road, Uyo where I made an unusual visit to purchase my today's body products.

Like I already said I scarcely visited this supermarket for my shopping though it's around my vicinity. Reason is because, it's new and I'm not used to buying things in anyhow shop to avoid buying substandard one. I have a trusted place, Stop and Shop shopping complex at Shelter Afrique junction still at Uyo, where I used to make my shopping for years now without any issues. Today I just stopped by Judel Supermarket because of its proximity and to reduce the transportation cost since I wanted just two things.

Well, from the look out of things, the supermarket is big, located by the express road. it has varieties of products one could look for elsewhere. It also has well arranged counter of commodities with the price tags not too exorbitant than expected. The customer service is nicely, I didn't really suffer myself to search for products I needed as the salesrep directed my way. First he was sitting down by the corner putting price tags on products, before he looked up and attended to me. Since it was my second time visiting there , we didn't really relate much. They are welcoming and polite, played their service role to customer's satisfaction. Only that I'll need to use their stuffs first to see the result before I go back to buy from there.

In today's shopping I needed a mild lotion and body wash that is pocket friendly with a value pack and discount, giving additional value from what I used to get from my normal shopping centre. In reality, this the reverse as the price of commodities keep on soaring higher, the Vaseline lotion price before used to be ₦1200, 6 steem but now, it went to ₦3000, 30 steem value. I need not to talk about the Secret body wash that was ₦2800 now ₦4800, 48 steem price.

I really feel unexcited but it's not their fault, it's the results of government harsh economic policies affecting cost of production in the country. Generally, prices of all goods and services are like this.

Buying my lotion and body wash were neccesity. I could not afford to miss them in my skincare routine even though the prices were higher. I had also boycotted the extra cost of paying transportation fare to buy them from afar. Finding the body products that solved my needs felt like winning the game. I love Vaseline Moisture Lotion as it's gentle to my sensitive skin .

My today's shopping experience at Judel Supermarket was an interesting one and I'm optimistic that this new new shopping centre will become one stop shopping place around IFA Atai, Airport Road in less time to come. I recommend it to shopping lovers to give it a try.
