Show us your Skills by Creating any Craft with Paper | Black Flower Bouquet.
Asslamu Alikum
Greetings all, The concept of creating something from imagination or an idea from internet is fascinating, It never fails to shoot a small dose of adrenaline through my body. Let's simplify it with three words. I. Love. Crafting.

I'm here to share my handmade project as a entry in the PaperCraft Contest, Show us your Skills by Creating any Craft with Paper Week#10, hosted in Steem For Bangladesh Community by @shiftitamanna. let's craft!!
Black flower bouquet
Flowers
To make the roses (we will call them roses), I used
• Black computer papers (I printed old used pages black, to save money)
• Elastic bands (I repurposed thread elastic from my sewing kit)
• brown, grey, white powder (actually eyeshadow, a last-minute addition to give the flowers a realistic touch)
• Black tape (for wrapping the stems)
Petals
To create the flower petals, I started with a rectangular paper, twisting and turning it until I had the petals (I'll call them petals even if they look nothing like them). With many petals prepared, I assembled them to make flowers.

Loose Flowers
Join three petals by putting one above another, create three more sets like this. next bind the sets together in middle using a rubber band/stapler. spread the sets like a star, and open the petals outwards, fully opening the innermost layer and slightly turned out outer layer.
not sure how I'm supposed to put the process in words, so here are the pictures.

The result was a rose flower!
Foliage
I created stems by rolling medium strips of black paper and securing them with tape. For the leaves, I cut out four-stranded shapes.
Assembling the parts was so satisfying. I simply folded the stem, attached it to the rubber band, and slid the leaves onto the flower base, securing them in place. I used brown, grey, and white eyeshadow to add subtle highlights to the flowers.

Bouquet
To make the bouquet, I used
• Flowers of course
• Chart paper (for the bouquet base)
• Butter paper (for decorating bouquet)
• more black printed papers
• a weird thread (I found from digging around)
I created the bouquet by gathering the flowers together and wrapping them in butter paper, black chart paper, and a few computer papers. Although I am not familiar with how bouquets are made I still gave it a shot. and Ta Daa!! The final result was pretty cool.

I took the inspiration from Pinterest (the video must be lying somewhere in my ideas board). I wanted to make something that could assist me with my birthday photoshoot (something I have been doing for the past two years). I wanted to make a star crown as well, but was too tired after making the bouquet.
Making flowers wasn't difficult, but it was time consuming (which I have loads of available for these things). I thoroughly enjoyed spending every minute working on my project. The bouquet itself took a whole day to complete (I'm slow), but the end result was worth it. I was so proud how the product turned out.
I didn't capture the pictures on the exact day, but again I loved how the photos turned out (despite being camera awkward and my sister's 'I'm done with your awkward poses' mood)!

After all the birthday drama I destroyed the bouquet and placed flowers in the beaded flask. The flask was crafted by my mother during her teenage years. Now, the flask sits proudly on our study table shelf.

I don't have any active social accounts except for Whatsapp. So I won't be able to share it on Twitter or any other platform.
I'll invite @nxzeehx @may2015 @artist1111 to participate.
