The Diary Game (23 May 2025) - Moments spent in a different way on a holiday

Dear friends, I hope everyone is doing well. Today I will present about my day to you all. Last Friday was a normal day for us as we usually have a holiday on Fridays, and we have holidays in Bangladesh and other places as well. However, this Friday was a bit different because our half-yearly exams are starting on the 27th. That's why this Friday was a little unusual. Normally, on Fridays, we would play sports or sleep in the morning.

Since it is very important for the students to study in the coming days before the exams, our Principal sir called us to class. After getting up, I performed Fajr prayer and had a light snack before attending class. I wasn't very attentive in class as we generally don't have many classes on holidays. Still, we are dedicated to our responsibilities in the institution. After a while, I saw a staff member from the office coming to give us boiled eggs. Then I ate it.

Although until today, we have never received a boiled egg as a gift in the morning to eat. Maybe this Friday of the week is for us to encourage us and to honor us by serving boiled eggs. I believe this will create a very good response for the organization, and I think it's very nice. I prefer boiled eggs in the morning much more. So, I have really liked it and felt comfortable.After class, I had been sleeping until noon. At noon,

I took a nap and performed my prayers by going to the mosque. After finishing my prayers, I attended the madrasa and sat down. Suddenly, my colleague said that maybe it doesn't feel good if we don't eat properly on a Friday. So, I said, let's not delay anymore and go to a restaurant to eat. It has become our habit to go out for dinner every Friday or Thursday night. So, we went and had biryani.

Our intention was that I would go from here and eat wherever food would be available, whether good or bad. Our intention was to visit The Grand Kacchi Ghar in our city, as well as a few others, but we couldn't get them open at that time, or even if they were open, we couldn't get food. The reason was that they were closed on Fridays. Without any further delay, we went to our desired restaurant named Quality. There, we first ordered Tehari and then we consumed our order.

After finishing our meal, we did another thing, which was to try out some food that I liked and knew was very good. Among those was a traditional dish of our Bogura city, which is yogurt. I had a glass of yogurt served in a clay cup, which was very tasty. After that, there was another sweet dish that I really like, and it is very popular in our country. Here, we call it Chomchom. I also had that.

After finishing our meal, we paid the bill due at the restaurant and came out. After stepping out, we took a stroll for a while. Usually, on Fridays, the whole city is less crowded compared to other days, and there are fewer vehicles as well. It’s really enjoyable to walk around during this time. After a little walking, I noticed a lychee vendor sitting by the roadside selling lychees. So, my colleague and I bought 50 pieces of lychee from there.

After finishing our shopping, we walked around for a while, and then after walking for some time, we took a rickshaw straight to the madrasa; it was three o'clock then. I mentioned that we have exams in a few days, so we have a class from three o'clock. Therefore, I sat with the students in the class. Sitting in the class, I read some books for a while, and then time passed until the Asr prayer.

After the Asr prayer, I went to my room and turned on the online data on my mobile. Then I worked on the platform. After passing the time until the Maghrib prayer, I prayed and went to the office to continue the examination process. Here, I prepared the guidelines for the examiners and the list of exam supervisors on the computer. I created a list of who will take the exam on which date and which group.

After working there, I printed out a nice page and submitted it to the principal for review. Then I finished my work by 9 o'clock and returned to the madrasa, heading to my room. Once in my room, I had dinner and completed the remaining tasks, preparing for sleep. That was the moment of my day. Stay well, everyone. Allah Hafiz.
