The Diary Game || date: 19.05.2025 || I removed weeds from the electric pole.

Assalamu Alaikum dear, Greetings to all from my motherland Bangladesh and a warm welcome to my blog for another session on the topic of my daily lifestyle content.

I woke up in the cool morning because it was raining. At that moment, I went outside, brushed my teeth, performed ablution, and prayed Fajr. It was very nice to see rain this morning after a long time.

It had not rained in Bangladesh for the past few months, so our area had become very hot and the rain had cooled the area. When the rain stopped, I went to my cousin's house and saw that their beli flowers were blooming on the tree. The white flowers looked beautiful because there were light raindrops on them. I captured that moment.

Then I came home and wrote an atlas post after spending some time. Personally, it takes me a long time to prepare an atlas post because I have to collect a lot of data. However, after that, I went to my aunt's house and spent some time there.

Then from there, I went to my cousins' house and sat there for a while. Suddenly, my eyes went to the sky. Billions of clouds in the sky had gathered. It looked a little scary to see my cousins' palm trees under the cloudy sky. However, I rarely enjoy such natural scenes, so I took pictures to keep such scenes as a witness.

Then I met my aunt and talked to them. Then from there, I was returning home when suddenly I saw a pole on our electric pole line. Let's do some research. I wondered why the electric pole was pulled with the help of a strong wire.

Electric poles are pulled together with wires so that they stand straight and steady and can maintain balance. This prevents the poles from tilting even in storms, winds or other external pressures. I saw that it was secured by a very strong iron casing.

I think this is not an easy task at all. Because a very efficient plan is needed to do this work. It is not possible to tie this pole with just any wire because several thousand volts of electricity are supplied to this pole.

Usually, a strong guy wire made of steel is used for tensioning. This wire is placed at a specific place on the pole and is connected to an anchor embedded in the ground or concrete below. In this way, the pole stands firmly and maintains balance.

High-quality high voltage electricity flows through this electric line pole. Let us explain to you in a simple way how it is supplied. Since I live in a village, the electric poles in the village usually have high voltage (HT) lines of 11 kV (11,000 volts).

However, the electricity supplied to the customers' homes through the poles is reduced to 230 volts (single phase) or 415 volts (three phase) through a transformer. This is directly distributed to different houses. You can see how the line is divided into three places from one pole.

However, I did a lot of research about electricity and then I saw that there were a lot of weeds growing on that electric pole. I was surprised because there are many accidents if there are weeds growing on the electric pole.

Weeds can conduct electricity when wet or damp, which creates the risk of short circuits or electrocution. If a spark hits dry weeds or vine leaves, it can catch fire. You can see in the picture below how the weeds are slowly growing upwards. Although it has not yet touched the wire above, no accident has occurred.

In the picture you can see how the weeds are slowly growing. So what can I do now? I think it is my responsibility as a conscious citizen to clean these weeds. So I started cleaning these weeds. I pulled those weeds very hard with my hands. The weeds were so hard that my hands were in pain.

But I was not giving up either. I pulled the weeds very hard so that there was not a single weed left here. If these remaining leaves touch the electric wire, we will have an electric accident. Now look at the picture below, before cleaning the weeds and after.

Anyway, it seemed a very pleasant job for me. Because this work will benefit the local people a lot. This is how it was late in the afternoon and then I went to the mosque and prayed. Suddenly I met a cousin. He said he wanted to eat the pickle of Barai. So I gave him money to buy pickles from the shop. Then we went to a place and talked and ate pickles.

It was nice to sit and talk in the breeze, and in the evening, I heard the Maghrib call to prayer. So we went to the mosque from where we prayed. After praying, the electricity suddenly went out, so I didn't feel like going home. My cousin was sitting in the pharmacy next door, selling medicines, so I spent some time with him. Then I came back to the balcony of the mosque and sat for a while, when the moon rose in the sky.

Suddenly the sky turned dark, it seemed like it was going to rain. I saw the light of the lamppost in front of me shining brightly and it became suitable for night photography. So I turned on my phone's camera, turned on the night mode and took a night picture. It was the boundary of the lamppost and the mosque.

After a while, the electricity came back on and the call to prayer was given for Ashar, then we all prayed together. Then we came home. When we got home, I lay down for a while and then I played games with my younger brothers.

In this way, I passed some time and had dinner with meat and paratha at night. Then I finished all the work on Steemit, and in this way, some time passed. Then I looked at the clock and saw that it was time for me to sleep, so I packed all my work and went to sleep and ended the day like today.
