Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all. I hope everyone is well in the glorious month of Ramadan. Alhamdulillah, by the infinite mercy of Allah, I am also well. Today I will share a great recipe for food-loving friends. After fasting all day in Ramadan, it is important to eat nutritious food to restore energy in the body quickly. Haleem is a nutritious food that is very popular during Iftar. Many people like to eat Haleem during Iftar. The high protein, fiber, vitamin, and mineral content of haleem is good for health. Due to its high fiber content, haleem dal is beneficial for digestion. Meat is one of the protein sources that boost immunity and aid in muscular growth. I am offering a basic recipe for Halim lovers right now.

Ingredients required for making Halim recipe: |
Halim ready mix 1 packet |
Beef 400 grams |
Onion chopped 1/2 cup |
Cooking oil |
Ginger |
Green chili |
Coriander |
Lemon |
Cucumber |

Open the Halim readymix packet and you will find two packets. One is a Halim dal and grain mix packet, the other is powdered mixed spices.
The cook will slowly pour the dal and grain from the Halim mix into 2 cups of boiling water, mix well, and let it soak for 15 minutes.
Place a large pot on the stove, heat the oil in the pot, and add the chopped onion. Stir and fry the chopped onion for some time. When the onion turns brown, set aside two-thirds.
Pour the washed and cleaned beef into the remaining onion and spread the powdered spices in the Readymix Haleem Mix over it. Then, stir the meat pieces and coat them with the spices.
Grind the meat for three to four minutes and add enough water. Cook the meat by closing the lid of the pot until it is cooked.
When the meat is cooked, add enough water to the soaked lentils and grains and add them to the meat. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
Cook until the water in the dal mixture evaporates and becomes thick. When the dal mixture becomes thick, remove it from the stove.
Serve hot with fried onions, coriander leaves, chopped green chilies, chopped cucumber, ginger pieces, and lemon juice. Healthy and very tasty Haleem.
