This special cake of Bengali winter days is not only in taste but also an integral part of our tradition. Milk cake is an unrivalled dish for any family guest and gathering. This milk cake, made by our mother on a winter morning, brings together memorable moments and the joy of winter days. First of all, to make cake, I bought date molasses and coconut and cinnamon, cardamom, and bay leaves from our local shop. Then I processed the date molasses and took them in a pot. Then I grated the coconuts in another pot.

Then I put a pot on the stove and added water to it and heated the date molasses with the help of fire to make them juicy. And while making the date molasses juicy, I added it to the spices taken earlier.

Then I put the grated coconuts on top of the juicy date molasses. Then I took 3 litres of pure cow's milk in another pot.

Then I took 20 previously made cakes in another pot. Then I poured 3 litres of pure cow's milk heated on fire in the previous pot on top of that cake.

Then on top of that milk cake, I poured the previous date molasses and spices mixed with it. Then I waited for a minimum of 8 hours from 10 pm to 6 am for the milk cake to be made.

Then in the morning, when the cakes were ready, they were ready to serve. The sun was smiling through the window on the new winter morning, and we were sitting eating the cake. And I took a picture with the recipe I made according to the community guidelines.
