A Serene Winter Morning in the Village: A Step-by-Step Artwork

I hope all of you are having all those wonderful winter days. Today you will enjoy a joyful drawing I have chosen that represents a beautiful winter village in the morning. Welcome to the Creative Process!

Materials I Used

🔹White art paper

🔹Pencil

🔹Eraser

🔹And Oil pastel colors, pencil colors

✅ Step 1: Sketching the Scene

To begin, I lightly sketched the main elements of the village scene with a pencil:

Houses: First I began by drawing two houses simple yet elegant, but representative for a countryside.

Trees: Further from the houses I drew two trees for the extra perspective in the background.

People: I draw two men sitting in the yard, again giving the image a similarity to life as if warm.

Farmer: I very complicated the scene and draw a farmer walking along the village road to make it look more alive.

Date Trees: I saw two tall trees of date around the road and put a man who is collecting the juice of the trees.

River and Boats: At last a small river which was passing nearby having two boats added the beauty of the scenery.

✅ Step 2: Adding Colors

The heart of my artwork lies in its vibrant colors:

Houses: To popularize the houses I have employed shades of orange, light yellow, black, and brown.

Trees: Two colors were used in painting the trees: green and brown which complement the natural surroundings.

People and Fire: The two figures in the yard were painted warm colors to portray the tradition of keeping warm in the morning in the village, this was done near fire.

Farmer and Date Trees: To ensure truthfulness, the farmer and the date trees were depicted using variants of natural colors of the trees.

River and Roads: Next, the roads and the river was painted, to bring the otherwise still picture, some movement and stillness.

✅ Step 3: Final Touches

To finalize the artwork I worked on sketching of the whole scene done in black color. This added definition and made the all elements look more distinctly, separate and a part of whole.

My drawing which I was creating during winter morning is finished finally! It also depicted simple village life, use of warm Colors and animated details which makes the picture appealing. That is the kind of fun I had in developing this artistic piece, I trust it will appeal to you all.
