FREDDIE MERCURY (QUEEN) EN VENEZUELA

En ésta oportunidad haré un aporte documental pero visual como parte de mi material personal de mi memorabilia musical de la maravillosa banda británica Queen. Hace casi 20 años, un amigo me obsequió un pequeño negativo o film Kodak fotográfico original e inédito que contiene tres imágenes de la entrevista realizada por Alfredo Escalante a Freddie Mercury en el salón VIP del Aeropuerto Internacional de Maiquetía previa a las tres funciones o presentaciones en el Poliedro de Caracas Venezuela el 25,26 y 27 de septiembre del año 1981.

Lo curioso del film o negativo es que capta el breve momento de la entrevista donde Freddie pidió que sólo estuviese el entrevistador quien sería Alfredo Escalante, un gran personaje y comunicador social que nos dejó mucho material informativo, radial sobre reportajes, entrevistas de muchas bandas y artistas del mundo del Rock que visitaban nuestro país y la otra persona sugerida sería claro, el fotógrafo.
Para resumir sobre lo que les expongo, es mostrar a nuestra comunidad tal material y seguir motivando, nutriendo para que sigan participando en tan buenos y creativos posts que se han venido publicando. Espero disfruten de tan buenas y espléndidas fotografías de medidas 8x10 que logré revelar directo del negativo o film.

De aquel maravilloso día para Alfredo Escalante donde apenas dominaba el idioma inglés y Freddie escasamente lo entendía, estoy seguro que donde estén en el otro lado del Universo, están conversando largo y tendido de todo el pendiente de aquella entrevista que ya deben haber completado y en el idioma universal... La Música Rock.

On this occasion I will make a documentary but visual contribution as part of my personal material of my musical memorabilia of the wonderful British band Queen. Almost 20 years ago, a friend gave me a small negative or original and unpublished photographic Kodak film of the interview carried out by Alfredo Escalante with Freddie Mercury in the VIP lounge of the Maiquetía International Airport prior to the three functions or presentations at the Poliedro de Caracas Venezuela on September 25, 26 and 27, 1981.
The curious thing about the film or negative is that it captures the brief moment of the interview where Freddie asked that only the interviewer be present, who would be Alfredo Escalante, a great character and social communicator who left us a lot of informative material, radio about reports, interviews of many bands and Artists from the world of Rock who visited our country and the other person affected would be clear the photographer.
To summarize what I am presenting to you, it is to show our community such material and continue to motivate, nurture and continue to participate in such good and creative posts that have been published. I hope you enjoy such good and splendid photographs measuring 8x10 that I managed to develop directly from the negative or film.
From that wonderful day for Alfredo Escalante where he barely spoke the English language and Freddie barely understood it, I am sure that wherever they are on the other side of the Universe, they are talking at length about everything pending that interview that they must have already completed and in the universal language ... Rock Music.
