And here is my entry for the contest which is the Black and White Photography.
Amidst the pandemic, Filipinos are best known for their "Katatagan" or resilience beyond any disaster. Living proof for that ay ang Nanay na ito who finds way para lang makatulong at kumita para naman mabuhay niya ang kanyang pamilya. Si Nanay Nilda ay nagtitinda ng mga mani at mais siya ay isang street vendor for 20 years na mahigit, hindi niya daw alintana ang bantang dala ng covid-19 dahil kailangan niyang maghanap buhay at kumita para sa kanyang pamilya. Kailangan daw nating magpakatatag dahil walang sino ang makakatulong sa atin kung hindi ang sarili natin dahil sabi niya na hindi daw pwede na lagi nalang tayo nakaasa sa ating pamahalaan dahil hindi lahat ng panahon at oras ay matutulungan tayo ng ating gobyerno kaya kailangan din nating maghanap-buhay para mabuhay.
Ang katatagan ay isang katangian na ipinagmamalaki ko sa ating mga Pilipino hindi tayo natitibag sa mga pagsubok na dumarating sa ating buhay kagyat naging basihan at panuntunan natin to go on living and to be resilient in all ups and downs anyway it's a no, no for us Filipinos to give up but instead we keep on fighting and learning to go on living life to the fullest.

Ang larawan na ganito ay totoo very common dito sa ating bansa. Kahit may pandemya, sinisikap natin na maghanapbuhay para may makain ang ating mga pamilya. Kagaya ni Nanay na nasa larawan nio po.
