THE DIARY GAME Steemit Philippines Community Contest|A Day in my Life as a Teacher | 28-04-21
Magandang buhay po sa lahat!
Hello everyone, how are you today? I hope you are all fine and safe. I am really glad because the DIARY Game of this community continues. Fun fact, I used to write and keep a diary when I was still younger because it was a school requirement (yes, we were required by our teacher to have one). But it was actually nice because every time I re-read my diary now, I was brought back to those happy times and some melancholic moments. Nostalgic!
Anyways, I love writing a Diary here for keepsake also. In fact, I am already looking forward to the day when everything will get back to normal, I would just scroll through my account and re-read how my day went today and all the things I have done in the new normal education.
Today, I would like to share to you how I spent my day. Our time-in in school is 7:00 am, so I should be at the school before seven but I woke up late, since it would take time for me to have my breakfast at home, I decided to bring my baon at school and eat my breakfast there. While eating, I am also working on a Powerpoint presentation for our upcoming virtual recognition because our school principal is already asking for it. Multi-tasking it is!
After I finished my breakfast, I went to the room wherein all the printing, and the photocopying of all the modules happened. I photocopied the modules for my subject there and I waited couple of hours to finish. I have 200+ students under my guidance in Statistics and Probability, thus, printing and photocopying would really take time to finish.
Finally, I’m done photocopying all my modules. I went upstairs, to my room, to sort and staple these modules for the distribution tomorrow. As I have said on my previous blog, this becomes our daily routine, so during weekdays I have nothing to share to you in my diary but just all about modules. 😊
Anyways, I took a selfie here. Nothing much happens, I was just sorting and stapling these modules. Since I have a lot of students, still much of my time was consumed. Nonetheless, I finished everything with a happy heart to serve my students.
Now that I am done with sorting and stapling modules, I have to deliver these to the class advisers of each section I’ve handled. It was heavy to carry, I was actually sweating, but I need to go on. I ask my colleague to take a picture of me, then she helped me carry these modules afterwards.
That’s all for my morning activities. Lunch break already. Thank you to Sir Bench, my colleague, for the food he shared to us for his birthday.
After lunch break, my whole afternoon just went by checking all my students’ outputs, recording their scores, and other paperworks in between. There were also few parents that I need to entertain. Thus, it was still a jam-packed afternoon. A productive day indeed!
Thank you everyone for reading. Also, thank you @steemphcurator for organizing this event and supporting this community. Mabuhay Steemit Philippines!
