Benefits of Discord

Before, discussing the benefits I would like to share my views on Discord. Discord is similar to chatting applications like WhatsApp, telegram, or Instagram/ Facebook. However, It is widely used on the Internet to Create strong Communities. Discord plays a vital role in the NFT Marketplace. because this is where the Nft program creates big Communities and engages with people. You can create a WhatsApp group also but the problem with WhatsApp or telegram is the Security Feature. People will get to know about your Mobile No. and handling 1-10k people on WhatsApp is a mess. Given Below are the Benefits of Discord -

6.	Similar To Social Media	Discord can replace Whatsapp for chatting, video or audio calls, Telegram for Data, Instagram for Engagement, Facebook for Promotions, and even more
7.	Jobs On Discord	In today's digital world, a Resume looks stale (not completely) so sharing your Digital Portfolio (Post soon) on Different discord servers for a job title like MOD, Developer, Designer, Marketing, and PR, etc is no dream.
8.	Tickets & Queries	In discord servers (especially in any NFT community) there is a channel name ticket or query where you can share your problems to the admins with utmost privacy and without bothering the other hundreds of community members
9.	Bots are Cool	Have you received the welcome greeting when you join a Discord Server

STEEMIT x DISCORD

Steemit is a blockchain-based platform and it goes hand in hand with Discord. Steemit is more focused on quality Content whereas Discord is a Messaging app. Discord can fuel Steemits Engine to Skyrocket its Growth and Both of the applications are extremely Modern and futuristic. Discord can be used to Promote steemit posts and Contests within the community and members can clear their doubts or can get information from other community members or admin to increase the productivity and quality of their Articles. If Steemit is the Super Computer then Discord is the Internet Connection, helping the supercomputer to perform well.

Growth & Development of Steemit

No doubt Discord is hell of a application but it is not enough to Boost Steemit's Growth. Discord is only available if you join a server but where you find such servers, probably twitter, Instagram or Youtube. Discord is mostly powered by Twitter as I observed in different Nft Communities. Twitter is backed by Instagram. So, all in all, I want to say that Discord is not sufficient to grow Steemit as it is not so common in Indians and you can't find communities by searching on discord. This is the disadvantage.

My Suggestion Here, I would like to suggest that we should have a Instagram handle because It is easy to convey our Steem India Mission through it. Also, Content is widely spreading on Instagram and Steemit is Famous for Quality Content. We can't outreach our @steemindiaa community ( or any other community) by using discord only. We need new posters who can add value to Steemit via other social media (Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp). At the End, I would like to add Instagram is giving reach to quality Content as per the new Algorithm.
