Back pain is the most frequent medical complaint of all people irrespective their age. It can be bubbling with inflammation--either barely or severely enough to affect your quality of life and occasionally requiring professional care. Back pain may occur at your upper, middle and lower back which depending on the reason of pain

once I had back pain from sitting behind a computer screen for too many hours with bad posture At first just sore, then days later it would spread to the neck and shoulders. It tends to get worse when I dont stretch or take meds. In order to fix the latter, I began incorporating more healthy sitting practices and taking walking/pool time and doing yoga/dynamic stretches.
Symptoms and Back Pain Causes
A lot could be the cause of back pain from;
Poor posture such as years worth of sitting hunched over or wrong technique on lifting weights.
Accidents, falls, or sudden movements can badly damage the muscle or ligament injuries.
Herniated nucleus pulposus (HNP) or compressed nerves- Results in pain, which tends to radiate down the legs.
Degenerative diseases -- osteoarthritis and osteoporosis are common one.
Immobility in the back muscles and makes them to be easy catched once injury occurs due to the lack of physical activity.
Stress, emotional tension that leads to muscle tension.
Back pain symptoms may manifest as throbbing, stabbing or just dull intermittent aching depending on the underlying cause.
Prevention and Treatment of Back Pain
Certain way of posture unsafely may lead to back-pain so it is important to take care and exercise regularly as well avoid lifting weights without correct technique. Stretching and strengthening can help keep your back muscles healthy too.
Aim to prevent back pain with appropriate rest, use of heat or cold packs and over-the-counter pain relievers (i.e ibuprofen).
Physical therapy, massage and some yoga can help as well. However, if the pain is long-lasting or increases you should have this checked further by a doctor.
On good days, back pain is an annoyance that can be managed with tweaks in the way one addresses with daily functions.
