I hear often that my friends and co-students complain about headache just before any tests, exams or when they prepare themselves for the projects. Once everything is passed they are back to normal and often headache is settled itself.
When we think about the trigger it is in majority of cases stress. There is no same cause of stress and for everyone stress denies differently.
When we try to combine the symptoms to explain what it could include there will be following:
headache is usually in both sides of head or involving the whole head
sometimes people may complain about neck pain after being working for a long time at computer and then that pain can run along the neck and settle in the sides of head
the type of pain is like a band that is getting tight with time
The causes of such headache is too much stress and overworking. We know that our brain as anything in our body needs time for rest and relaxation. Non-stop working could cause tiredness and less concentration, some people despite of that try to help with coffee, sugar and any other artificial help to increase the productivity of our brain and that often brings the symptoms of overworking.
It is important to know and recognise the symptoms and take preventive measurements:
stop working and make breaks
go out in fresh air
meditation and ways of relaxation
eyes, need to have rest from any irritation, so close your eyes and lie back relax for 20 minutes
make sure you have enough sleep
I did not have any tension headache this month and luckily it was a while ago when it was a case. I remember the time when I had a stress about an issue that was ongoing for a week, that days even when I was sleeping I had that ache and also a feeling of pulsation “march” in my head, of course that was a heart beat that I could feel in my head and that completely disturbed my sleep. I remember I even needed to see a doctor to clarify that there is nothing concerning. Since my issue resolved that persistent headache is also gone and I stopped hearing that pulsation any more.
