The saying, Water is Life, is not only truism but a significant factor for human existence. A normal human being needs a significant amount of water to survive daily, otherwise, fatique and all sorts of body pains set in. The benefits of drinking water regularly are numerous
Water activates all organs of the body in readiness for their functions . The cells, the tissues, the organs and even the systems, all depends on water to perform their duty well. Drinking water, especially first thing in the morning helps keep the internal organs properly functional. With this, the systems of the body perform their functions without stress, thereby preventing unnecessary body pains.
Water lubricates and cushions joints.
The body works like a machine. Every machine functions optimally when oil and petrol is added. The body is not far away from the workings of human machine. It needs water to lubricate different joints in the body otherwise, pains like attrities become very common. Common pain like headache could be traceable to not drinking enough water. The body overworks itself and gets dehydrated and at a point gets stuck up when its parts are dried up. When you drink water, the body returns to normalcy.
Water prevents kidney damage .
Kidney is a very sensitive but important organ in the body. It regulates and filters impurity from the body. Daily drinking of water can keep kidney functional, preventing it from damage. For instance, daily water intake can help remove kidney stones from the body. Therefore, water facilitates the work of kidney in the body.
It also helps in the removal of waste materials from the body
There's no denying in the fact that water plays a critical role in removing toxins from the body. If you regularly drink water, you will urinate frequently. Through water, both solid and liquid wastes are eliminated from the body. Most diseases are prevented when you drink water daily.
Water strengthens immune system
Daily drinking of water improves immune system of the body. Water contains zinc which boosts immunity that fights diseases that may invade the body. This is why you have to drink as much water as possible if you must stay healthy.
