Learning challenge s23w3: "I Love My Body /Jump squats, side squats and lunges (let's build lower body muscles)".
I promised to be back for this week's challenge, today I did my squat exercises just as it was recommended by the teachers. Seeing this week's exercise I was impressed because I have a squat guy that I follow online , because of his moves I find this particular exercise entertaining. Despite following the squat master I have never tried it out on a serious note. Today I made up my mind to join, I hope you find my moves interesting.
- Squats with jump
I did this exercise by standing at a place , I lowered my hips and knees then I quickly jumped up and landed back to my squat. This exercise is helpful hence it's build up my muscles by supporting my knees and hips. It will also help me to manage injury risks.
- Side squats
This one done by squatting and sliding your leg by the side while seating on air. I did it untill I reached the time frame. And I repeated same in the other leg. This helps in maintaining good mobility. It helps my overall body system.
- Lunges
I think I like this particular exercise, it was done by keeping my legs apart then I work one by bringing it backward and forward . This exercise help me to balance my coordination. It helps my daily movement.

At the end of the program, what is the overall feelings and where did you feel the pains the most?
I was happy seeing that we can do the times we are able to do, with that in mind I decided to try but during the process of trying , I got the strength to do the three squats exercises. The feeling was much on my thighs, I felted that sensation like a muscle pull. I couldn't walk well my legs was jerking ,I have to sit for sometimes until I could regain some stamina.
If I'm to repeat this exercise for like two to three subsequent days I'm not sure if I can do it . This one I did it's already dealing with me. It was not an easy exercise.
Why do you think you personally need these programs? Explain
As a woman I need that fine body structure that defines a beautiful damsel. Taking part in this exercise will help me gain flexibility I know very well that I'm not too flexible when it comes to exercises and dance as such I personally need this exercise.
I need to maintain my shape , doing this exercise will help me burn some calories in order to get my desired shape especially around my thighs and butts.
The exercise helps me to build my joints.

Wow @okere-blessing, you are a rockstar 😊 I'm impressed by your determination and enthusiasm for this week's challenge and i must say that your explanations of each exercise are clear and concise, and I also love how you shared your personal experience and feelings after completing the program. It's completely normal to feel muscle soreness, especially after trying new exercises and don't forget to rest oo 😊.
This exercise is demanding, I tried doing it and it's telling on me. But one thing that keeps me going is the benefits. I hope you have done yours.
