Hello, friends welcome to my post in which I have discussed "Cosmetic Products And Skin" as part of my participation in this 👉contest organized by @abdullahw2

What is your go-to skincare routine, and which products do you use regularly?

My go-to skincare routine consists of the following: cleansing which helps to remove dirt and oil buildup on my body, exfoliating which gets rid of dead skin cells, toning which helps to balance my skin PH and preps skin for hydration, moisturizing hydrates and locks in moisture and sun protection which prevents me from having sun damage. I do use Neva Body Lotion regularly on my body, Neva Rollon on my armpit, and Solfine Hair Cream on my head regularly.

What are the benefits of using these cosmetic produc?

The benefits of using this cosmetic product are for the following reasons stated below.

  • For hydration purposes, which helps to moisturize my skin and keep it supple and soft.

  • For protection of my skin. It helps to protect my skin against sunlight by preventing me from aging prematurely or having skin damage.

  • It helps to remove dirt and excess oil on my face by preventing breakouts, which I would say is a deep cleansing.

  • It serves as a skin repair and nourishment since it contains active ingredients like hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, which are capable of improving skin health.

What is the difference between natural cosmetic products and chemical-based sed ones? Which one do you prefer and why.?

Natural Cosmetic ProductChemical-Based Sed Ones
Natural cosmetics are made with plant-based ingredients, organic extracts, and essential oils. It is a product that is free from synthetic sulfate, parabens, and fragrances. A good example is Aloe Vera gel.Chemical-based products are made with chemical substances, and they contain synthetic ingredients, preservation, and lab-made activities to target skin care.

I prefer natural cosmetic products because they are gentle and safer for sensitive skin like mine which I don't prioritise deep treatment for my skin. It is only when I want a quicker result for my skin that I can go for chemical-based cosmetics, but no, because it is a natural-based product that is good for my skin.

Do you think the regular use of cosmetic products can damage our skin? If yes then share their drawbacks.

Yes, I think the regular use of cosmetic products can damage our skin, especially when we use them incorrectly. Some of the drawbacks are as follows

  • Skin allergies and irritation: Too much chemical, fragrance, or alcohol on our skin can cause redness or breakout

  • Acne and Clogged Pores: Excess use of heavy creams or oil can make us have acne.

  • Sensitivity: string actives such as retinol acids often or creams that oil can make us experience skin sensitivity.

  • It can cause premature aging.
