How are you all? I hope all of you are well and happy in your lives. I am grateful to see every new day in my life. I thanked to Allah for this blessing. Today I'm going to share my diary with you all.
First of all i am thankfull to @ahsansharif for organized such an amazing contest in @Healthysteem .I am really happy to participate in it.
What is Hepatitis B, and how does it affect the liver?
Hepatitis is also a viral infection caused by the hepatitis B virus that attacks the liver, causing inflammation of the liver cells and causing extensive liver damage.
- Affect the liver
It can cause acute and chronic in fashion. Acute infections are short-lived while chronic infections can lead to liver scarring, liver cancer and liver failure.iF the infection last a long time,it can create scars in the liver.
- Inflammation and damage:
The HBV is attacks liver cells, causing inflammation and damage.
- Fibrosis:
Chronic inflammation can be lead to scarring of the liver tissue, known as fibrosis.
- Liver failure:
In severe cases , hepatitis B can cause liver failure, where he liver is unable to perform it's essential functions.
What are the symptoms of acute and chronic Hepatitis B?
- Acute hepatitis B:
In this, the person is very tired, lack of appetite, he does not feel hungry, there is a lot of fear of vomiting, his stomach pain is very much.Hepatitis B has many of the same symptoms, except for jaundice, which is yellowing of the skin and eyes, clay-colored stools.
- Chronic hepatitis B:
Often asymptomatic in the early stage's.
It often happens to me in time stages, I feel tired, I feel very weak, I can't lift my weight by myself, I don't feel like doing anything, it ends and when a person doesn't eat anything, then I have to feel the weakness by myself. Vomiting begins. Abdominal swelling is felt. Yellowing of the skin and eyes begins.
What are the common ways in which Hepatitis B is transmitted?
Some of the main ways of transmission of hepatitis B are listed here: mother-to-child transmission during birth with an infected partner sharing contaminated needles or syringes with the virus from non-germogenic conditions getting a piercing done by transfusing infected blood or blood products sharing personal items such as a toothbrush or nail clippers etc.
Blood and body fluids: Contact with infected bloods ,semen, and other the body fluids.
Mother to baby:
An infected pregnant person can pass the virus yo their baby during childbirth.
It's essential to be aware of these type of transmission modes to take preventive measures and reduce the risk of the contracting Hepatitis B.
How can Hepatitis B be prevented?
- Vaccination:* The most effective way to prevent hepatitis B is vaccination. The HBV vaccine is safe and effective and is recommended for all newborns as well as for those who are at high risk of infection.
Avoid sharing Needle:If you use them for sleeping or non-medical purposes, make sure they are sterile and not shared. Because even if we share these needles, germs can spread.
Ensure proper sterilization: Make sure the tattoo or piercing equipment is properly sterilized. Because these are tools that are used by many people and are not sterile, we should try to make them sterile when we do something like this.
