Before a meal is term as healthy recipes, this simply means that such meal should be nutritionally balanced with complete macronutrients.
Seeing this contest, I was so excited and l decided to prepare one of our native soup called Okro soup with sea food ingredients
Okro has a very good health benefits, it is advisable for everyone to consume even if on a regular basis.
Okro contains vitamin C, calcium and potassium which helps to support a healthy bone and immune function.
Okro is rich in fibre which helps in proper digestion of other food, lower cholesterol and sugar level.The most of all is that it helps in reduction of cancer risk. I cherish and value the health benefits of this meal.

Checking on ingredients, they are rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals which makes the meal a healthy recipes.
Ingredients
- Dry Catfish
- Okra
- Snail 🐌
- Oyster 🦪
- Crayfish
- Periwinkle
- Pepper 🌶️
- Onion 🧅
- Palm oil 🪔
- Azusa leaf.
- Seasoning cubes to taste
- Salt to taste
Now let's start the preparation of a healthy recipes
I started my cooking by steaming the sea ingredients which is snails, periwinkle and oyster with Seasoning cubes, pepper, onions and salt to make it tasty.
The next step was putting empty pot on a cooker of low heat and allowed it dry. I added my desirable quantity of palm oil to the pot.

I added slice onion then I allow it to fry for few seconds.
I put my chopped okro to the oil and stir it consistently which helps the okro to perform.
It was then time to put crayfish which I did and after which my catfish, oysters, snails, removable periwinkle that was well fried and stirred gentle.
I added a little quantity of water and crayfish to the pot which will help the soup not to be sticky.
I final it by putting seasoning cubes and Azusa leave.I allowed the pot on a cooking process for some minutes which helped everything to be done properly.
My Okro soup is ready in less than no time.
