Wk 42: The Diary Game and My Your Health
I would say that keeping a diary on our health and diets, is a concious effort that one needs ro maintain. This is to say that Health and diets are indispensible as it determines our overall well-being.
Being healthy is a product of the diets, regular body check-ups and medications, coupled with having a regular physical exercises and having some rest. These activities enables the body to function well.
Today, I come forward to present the various dietary and physical ativities which makes up my diary today.
THE EXERCISES THAT I DID
There is no gain saying that doing or engaging on a regular exercise helps to stregnthen the body tissues and ultimately regulate the flow of blood in the body system.
To begin with, as soon as I woke up in the morning, I stayed silent on the bed closing my eyes and taking some deep breath. I had to do the inhale and exhale yoga breathing to loosen my body system for an active day. Afterwards, I had to engage in various kinds of exercise as I captired it below.
MY MORNING DIET AFTER THE EXERCISE
After doing these exercises, my body system becomes open and so I started feeling hungry. To start preparing my morning meal, I got the following to first, make a stew:
- Some fresh tomatoes
- Groundnut oil
- Pepper
- Crayfish
- Salt
- Maggi onions and other seasoning
I sliced the tomatoes and onions after which I poured the oil into the already heated pot. After 3 minuites of futher heat, I began the frying by forst pouring salt, and then followed pouring the tomatoes, onions, crayfish maggi, the pepper and other seasonnings. I finally got 2 eggs, fried it and mixed it up with the stew. The stew gets done at about 10 minuites.
As the stew boils, I got a tubber of yam and cut half of and few slices ofnplantain as could be enough for me. I boiled the yam for about 15 minuites and it gets done. At this point, my breakfast is ready.
...AND VITAMINS
After my breakfast, I reached out and took my vitamin suplement. I take the suplement in oreder to make up the vitamins that may be lacking in the food. The name of the vitamin suplement Dynewell and it contains cyproheptadine, Lysine, Proteolysed liver extract.
As we all know, our body can not function without water. So after taking the vitamine, I had to take the bottled water I reseved, ease the digestion.
AFTERNOON LUNCH
The body system works just like engines that require gas, fuel or oil and other lubricants ti keep it generating energy. How do I by what I have just said? I mean that our body system also require food regularly to function the way it should. By the time afternoon stets in, the body might have used up the energy produced from the food one eats in the morning. This is one of the reasons that, even after taking the lunch, during the afternoon, one becomes hungry again.
After coming back from work, I decided to go for fruits. I got paw -paw and the african apple. I did not take the at the same time rather, I took one after the other.
The first I ate was the paw-paw. I ate it first in the afternoon because, I would gain energy faster than when I eat the african apple first.
As I gained energy faster after 20 minuites of eating the paw-paw, I now take the african apple.
Fruits like the paw-paw and others are rich in vitamines. So I like taking them especially in for lunch.
MY DINNER AND RELAXATION: YOGA PRACTICE FOR BETTER SLEEP
As the night draw near, I took the yoga exercise so that I could have a better sleep. The type of the yoga exercise is the one that would make me to relax and then have a better sleep. To practice this yoga, I stretched out my right leg and move the left leg backwards. The right leg is lifted higher than the left leg. I now placed my two hands on the ground and let my head rest on my right knee cap. I stayed there for 10 minuites.
Another yoga for relaxation and better sleep I did is to gtadually face the ground. On getting my face to ground, I carefully crossed my right hand below the left hand then placing the left hand above the right hand and above my head lying in the ground. On this particular type of exercise, I normally stay there for 10 minuites.
Now after these exercises, I went in and took my bath. After taking the night bath, I went right a
away to have my lunch. This time, I ate rice with chicken pepper soup.
I did not forget to take my multivitamin suplement. I take the vitamin suplement twice a day. I take it 10 mls measurement in the morning and another 10mls in night. After taking the vitamins, is now time to go to bed to rest from my tiredness and sleep.
This is as far as I could go to have a have healthy activities that ensures my healthy living. It is really interesting and fun to engage in this health diary game.
