"Is intermittent Fasting Beneficial for Everyone?"
Today, I am glad to become a participant of the discussion with the title “Is Intermittent Fasting Beneficial for Everyone?” organized by @aaliarubab in #healthysteem. Today intermittent fasting is actually a trend in nutrition which people encourage to reach the raised metabolism, weight loss, and overall health improvement. Okay, let me not waste any time getting to the topic and identify whether or not intermittent fasting is appropriate for everyone.

As for me, intermittent fasting is an effective method of weight loss, although in many cases its effectiveness depends on individual and dietary regimen and non-adherence to certain rules. Intermittent fasting controls the eating time and the fasting time makes the body uses stored fats hence promoting weight loss. For me, it is more convenient and simpler than some of the other strict calorie control diets because it is more concerned with when you are eating than what you are eating.
But, again, intermittent fasting is not a magic bullet and is not necessarily even easy to do for many people. It does take some people a while to get used to, particularly intermittent fasting they are big on snacking. In my opinion, it is very important to stick to if schedule and avoid overeating during the meal time. But, when practiced together with regular exercising and proper diet it can help in a weight loss process. However, everybody is unique and what might be effective for one body might not be the same for another.

Of course, there exists some certain dangers of intermittent fasting for those people who have some particular health issues. Nevertheless, consuming meals in timely manners has some significance benefits that can help one live a healthy lifestyle, although some people with medical problems may not cope with this diet.
For example, long term users of insulin or any medication that lowers the blood sugar level should be careful. Fasting may result to dangerously low levels of blood sugar, which is a real possibility since the patient is diabetic. Likewise, persons who previously had eating disorders will not benefit from structured fasting since it is likely to make them develop or worsen their eating disorders.
Others who would experience some problems are those people who have low blood pressure or have tendencies to dizziness and fainting spells – reasons that are evident due to fast for long hours. Intake of foods during every meal is prohibited in this diet until pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid it because their requirement is high when compared to those who do not bear a child.
Also, people having other diseases or those who take prescribed drugs should also see their doctor before they start with intermittent fasting. Just like every other change in diet plans, it is advisable to fully understand the impacts of the change in diet plans more so where conditions of health are involved.

The approach of intermittent fasting can therefore be a realistic way toward a sustainable long-term healthy diet but up to personal lifestyle, mentality, and constitution. Therefore, most people find intermittent fasting as a better approach to changing their eating habits to lose weight while improving metabolism without the need for developing complex diets. Its flexibility, allowing individuals to choose a schedule that fits their routine whether it's 16: Something like 8, 5:2, or another makes it more doable than other diets for some people.
However, success here is also contingent upon eating patterns during the fasting times and ensures that one adopts a healthy diet consistently. However, if it is going to be an excuse to have a feast on junk foods then, it comes with certain risks to health. In addition, it must remain balanced and can be done only for some times of the day, if, for example, fasting has to be interrupted with food for several hours in a row, it may not be good for your health.
I think that if one has to fast, they have to do so consciously taking to moderation and combined it with healthy eating and exercise, and then yes, intermittent fasting can be healthy for most of us in the long-term.
However, just as with any kind of dietary change, people have to ask themselves whether it is all suitable for them in general and for their specific health requirements and daily schedule.
