Health Matters: "Noise Pollution"
I am @akbarmia, from Bangladesh
Noise pollution is much higher in urban areas than in our rural areas. Some of the sources of noise pollution in Bangladesh are given below:
Industrial factories: One of the sources of noise pollution in our country is industrial factory noise. Noise pollution is caused by the noise of industrial machinery. As a result, we hear less in our ears, which increases stress and decreases concentration.
Sound Box: Today in Bangladesh, a sound box is played in almost every event, and the excess sound of the sound box is noise pollution. As a result, night sleep disturbance, loss of students' studies, mentality, etc., are affected.
Vehicle Noise: Vehicle horns are honked unnecessarily in our country, which is one of the causes of noise pollution. Loud noise can cause people to lose hearing power and lose concentration at work.
Construction Work: Construction work causes noise pollution in the environment. The noise of various appliances disturbs people's daily life.
Meetings, Rallies and Promotions: Sound boxes, mics, slogans, etc, are used in various meetings, rallies and promotions, resulting in noise pollution through excess noise.
A human can tolerate a maximum of 105 decibels of truth, but not regularly. So noise pollution becomes a lot of problem for our humans, including our ears. Noise pollution causes developmental problems in children, loss of education, heart problems in the elderly, increased blood pressure, deterioration of the working environment, loss of hearing, stress, irritability, sleep disturbances, increased depression, reduced tolerance, etc. problems arise. So we should take the necessary steps to avoid noise pollution.
Following are some effective ways to reduce noise pollution in urban areas:
- Public awareness should be created about noise pollution.
- Excessive or excessive honking should be avoided.
- In terms of vehicles, more use of electric vehicles will reduce noise pollution.
- Industrial factories making noise and using all noise-suppressing equipment.
- Abstain from the sound box and avoid it after 10 pm.
- Ensure prevention of noise pollution in construction works.
- More trees should be planted in the city, then some noise pollution will be prevented.
- People are afraid of laws, so laws should be made and implemented to prevent noise pollution.
If I want to create a calm environment in my community, then its features will be:

Greenery: I will prioritize green areas first to create a calm environment. Plants and green natural surroundings will keep a community calm.
Importance in Child Development: Children should be ensured that they can grow up well. They have to arrange education, sports, medical etc.
Noise Pollution: I need to create awareness against residual noise pollution and take action against noise pollution to keep the environment calm in my community.
Awareness of construction work: One of the obstacles to environmental disturbance is the lack of awareness of construction work, so work must be done to increase awareness of construction work.
Libraries and Relaxation Places: Libraries can be arranged to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in a community and parks, playgrounds etc. should be arranged.
Yes, I think technology can play an important and effective role in reducing our noise pollution. With the help of technology, noise pollution can be prevented by using modern equipment. You can become environmentally friendly by using technology-based equipment in construction work and industrial plants. The technology will help vehicles use less honking or electric vehicles. Moreover, technology will help us to create public awareness about noise pollution. Technology-based drones and robots can be used to control noise pollution. So I think noise pollution prevention technology will make an important contribution.
