Assalamu Alaikum,
Hello everyone,
I am @afrinn

Assalamu Alaikum, I hope you are healthy and well, Alhamdulillah. I am also healthy and well. I have shared with you what I had experience with acne. I hope you like my following post. Let's get started
What is acne and what causes it?
Acne is a common skin problem, which mainly appears on the face, neck, shoulders, back and chest. It occurs when the pores of the skin become blocked due to oil, dead cells and bacteria. Inflammation occurs in these blocked pores, which manifests itself in the form of pimples or pimples. Acne is usually more common in teenagers than adults, because hormonal changes cause their skin to secrete excess oil.
The main causes of acne are:
Hormonal changes: Hormonal fluctuations due to adolescence, menstrual cycle, pregnancy or contraceptive pills can cause acne.
Excess oil production: When the skin produces more oil, the pores become clogged, which leads to acne.
Bacteria: When bacteria enter the skin, inflammation occurs, which increases acne.
Unclean skin: If the skin is not properly cleaned, dirt, oil, and dead cells can accumulate and clog pores, causing acne.
Stress and diet: Stress and fatty foods can contribute to acne.
In addition, genetic factors can also be a cause of acne for some people.
What are the different types of acne?
Comedonal acne: Whiteheads or blackheads, where the skin's pores are clogged with oil and dead cells.
Papules: Red, swollen small pockets that are usually painful.
Pustules: Similar to papules, but contain pus.
Nodules: Large, hard, painful pimples that form under the skin.
Cystic acne: Large, deep pimples, which usually form as large cysts or nodules and can be very painful.
These can be caused by various reasons such as hormonal changes, poor skin hygiene, or dietary habits.
How to prevent acne? (Share home remedies)
There are some simple home remedies that can be used to prevent acne. Here are some ways:
Keep your face clean: Clean your face thoroughly twice a day. Use a mild face wash, so that the skin does not become overly dry and the amount of oil is controlled.
Gram flour and curd mask: Make a pack by mixing gram flour and curd and apply it on your face for 15-20 minutes. It absorbs excess oil from the skin and helps in removing acne.
Sandalwood paste: Sandalwood paste helps in reducing acne scars and inflammation. It gives a cooling sensation and keeps the skin fresh.
Use of toothpaste: Applying a little toothpaste on the acne area dries it up and reduces the inflammation.
Drink more water: Drink enough water to flush out the impurities from the body and keep the skin hydrated. It keeps the skin clean.
Papaya Mask: Papaya keeps the skin soft and smooth. It helps in eliminating the bacteria that cause acne.
Taking a break: Use less products on the skin and avoid tight materials so that the skin can breathe naturally.
Following these simple home remedies regularly can reduce the problem of acne.
