Greetings, Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

Today is Caturday, my favorite day of the week... it is an old Internet tradition that happens every Saturday, with people everywhere sharing photos of their feline companions.

Enjoying a little afternoon sun!

The sun finally came out today, after what seems like weeks of nothing by grey and rainy weather. I am very glad for this, as what cat does not love to take a good nap in a sunny spot!

The Mom-Hooman had a very busy week, so she is taking "a day off" today, sitting peacefully and reading... and that usually means being accompanied by at least one cat!

It now feels like we have fully started on 2025, so I am helping the Dad-Hooman with his artwork, because — as he says — "the holiday is over!"

I like to inspect everything he does, to make sure that he only allows really good art to be finished! Everyone knows that creative things are best performed with cat help! As you can see, he doesn't seem too unhappy about it!

Whenever I am not helping out, I like to take naps with Nala. She still seems to follow me around everywhere, and that is actually quite nice.

I seem to remember everything being quite OK before the kittens arrived back in August... but now I can't imagine our lives without them!

Smudge mostly keeps to herself, as usual.

She doesn't mind when we check in with her, but she's really too old to play energetic kitten games, so that part mostly falls to me.

One of the positive outcomes — according to the Hoomans — is that I have evidently lost a little weight around the middle, as a result of running through the house with the young cats!

We're still working on getting more people interested in posting about their cats... I noticed today that there were a few more cat posts today, so that's a good thing.

Now we just need to "train" everyone to start using the #caturday tag on Saturdays!
