The popular saying ‘age is just a number' illustrates the fact that one’s age shouldn't be a yardstick for measuring his or her capabilities, relationships, romances, happiness, hope and aspirations.

Paradoxically, age is a value in number that keeps adding as one's growth and maturity increase and in reality it may somewhat impact on the different factors of life such as career, health, preference, perceptions and the dynamics of social life. Age may not necessarily affects one’s innate abilities but it greatly impact on individuals due to how the society works, views and perceives most especially on women.

Age is just a number' by merely a gainsay due to the fact that, a person can still explore life at its fullest depending on the mindset and capabilities. Frantically, beholding ourselves in a mirror of astounding reality before us we all know that age is a number.

Because as we aged, we grow, we evolve especially within a decade, we undergo a natural change which pose both challenge and advantage to us. Additionally, certain professions, friendships, reproductive ability may not be favorable to us. The society may also frown at us if we engage in certain romantic relationship and living some kind of lifestyle .

Do you think that age should limit us to doing what we like and are passionate about. ?

It's our hope and prayer that age shouldn't limit us in living our dream life and fulfilling our purpose. Whatever is our passion, dreams and aspirations, we should explore it to the fullest, age not being our barrier. The reality of humanity is that life is transient, life is a mirage. We aren't in control of things. There's certainly a limit to everything, so make it our Eternal Creator. You may not want this limit but naturally it forces itself on you and you know you can't cheat nature.

Have you ever been made to feel inferior because of your age?

At times I am but somehow I am not. I usually feel inferior when there appear a professional work I would’ve love to do then I'm above the age limit. In the other way round I do not because as I experience as I age I become more wiser, emotionally mature, calm, patience temperate and understanding and wouldn't indulge in certain things that aren't in line with my values. I'm being myself and not want to be others. I simply remind myself that I'm growing older, I should be responsible.

Are you one of those who don't like to say your age for fear of being judged?

Oh no! I'm not but I don't specify my age to people not so close to me. I can say in my 30’s or 40’s. It's not because I don't want be judged, I only don't see reason enough to be so open about my age to all and sundry. I'm big and evolving always having in mind that I'm a full mature lady.

I don't really care much about what people perceive about me in terms of age. Age liers and those who magnify people's age have thier cup of tea to drink, not mind. I simply move on only thinking on what could move me one step ahead to have good a good well being and a secure financial future.

Express a saying or phrase about age?

“To grow older is mandatory but to grow up is optional": this suggests that someone can be older but still very young at heart.

“Age is just a number”:

This highlights the fact that age should not be a limit for us to achieve our dreams and aspirations.
