Mercy a 21year old lady in a street down my own street got pregnant out of wedlock and gave birth to a bouncing babygirl named Precious two years ago. Her life has been miserable since she got pregnant and it became even more miserable when she put to birth.

Mercy struggle so hard to survive and so can be able to take care of her babygirl. Her parent sworn not to assist her in any way because the warned her about the kind of lifestyle she was living but she gave no listen ears to her parents warning and advice.Her parents were expecting that as the only female child God chose to bless them with, she will get married responsibly so she can give her family a good name.

But instead, Mercy decided to be stubborn and the outcome of her stubbornness has made her miserable. The challenges of single motherhood really downed on mercy, living her so devastated, depressed and frustrated. She engaged in multiple jobs just to see that she make ends meet to provide for Precious her daughter.

At some point, Mercy decided to start parting and socializing again, hoping that she will find love and stability again. Few months later after she decided to start dating again, she found out that she was pregnant. This time around, she became even more devastated and depressed, she thought she had learned her lesson after the first pregnancy but no it didn't seems so.

The news of her second pregnancy out of wedlock spread so fast that it immediately got to the ears of her parent. Her parents who haven't reached out to her since she gave birth to Precious,, called her. However,, it was not with the intention to give her any form of assistance, but it was purposely to condemn her for her wayward and irresponsible lifestyle.

Mercy became so devastated by the kind of words her parents used on her,, she then began to consider having an abortion, since nobody was willing to help her including her parents who were supposed to love and support her chose to abandon her. The guy who impregnated her ran and is no where to be found, at this point, Mercy was Left with no option than to consider an abortion, despite the fact that she is fully aware of the risk involves with abortion.

Mercy was scared of the criticism she was going to face if at all she goes to any hospital to book appointment for an abortion,, so she decided to buy abortion pills from a nearby pharmacy store. The abortion pills she bought from the pharmacy store cost her life. The next morning after Mercy had taking the abortion pills,, her helpless and dead body was found inside her room with her two year old babygirl sitting and crying beside her dead body.

Her neighbors contacted her parent and the parent came and carried her dead body to the mortuary. Mercy was buried two days back and her little baby Precious is now living with her grandparent. Mercy story is so pathetic and also a lesson to young girls out there. To all my fellow ladies, Please let's all endeavor to live a responsible lifestyle and say no to fornication!!!

What I have learned from it.

I have learned that it is important to live a responsible lifestyle, adhere to my parents instructions and advice, and abstain from fornication,, to prevent myself from becoming pregnant out of wedlock not to even think of abortion. So I won't bring shame and disgrace upon God's name, my family and myself!!
