Is age a matter of numbers?
"Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter".... Hayao Miyazaki
Is age a matter of numbers? |
---|
Age is shown as a number, but it means more than that. It also shows a person's life experiences, physical growth, and the social norms linked to different ages. So, age is not just about the number.
This set of numbers does not determine your identity, your accomplishments, or your future potential. People can achieve great things at any age, whether they are young or old.
I believe in achieving things early. Get up when your friends do and take action while they are active, because age means more than just a number. Time can slip away before you know it.
Consider a young, attractive woman in her twenties who turns down all her admirers, thinking she will always stay young and beautiful. You can imagine what her life looks like in her forties.
Age is more than just a number. It's always better to start early than to wait!
Do you think that age should limit us from doing what we like and are passionate about? |
---|
Age can hold us back from pursuing our passions. When you're 10, there are activities you might love, but you can't do them because of your age. By the time you're 20, you may wish to revisit those activities from when you were younger, but it's too late since you've moved on from that age.
Age also restricts us in other ways, like what foods we can eat, what drinks we can have, and what clothes or accessories we can wear. As kids, we enjoy many things and participate in various activities, but as we grow older, we often stop doing those things because of these limitations.
Have you ever been made to feel inferior because of your age? |
---|
I have experienced this many times, especially when I watch movies featuring young children who pray passionately, sing beautiful songs, and worship in different languages. It makes me wonder where I have been all this time.
Every time I see these scenes, I feel inadequate. If a 10-year-old girl can bring God's presence so strongly, what am I doing with my life?
I truly wish to have that connection, and seeing others achieve it sometimes makes me feel inferior.
Are you one of those who don't like to tell your age for fear of being judged? |
---|
I share my age whenever I want, but I worry that people won't believe me unless I show them my birth date. Some even ask for my birth certificate to confirm.
I don't think there's any reason to hide my age. It's not a bad thing, and I feel fine about it. If someone has a problem with it, that's their issue.
Nothing stays hidden forever. Even if I hesitate to share my age now, eventually those I'm keeping it from will find out. So, I don't hide my age; I tell anyone who wants to know.
Does it express a saying or phrase about age? |
---|
Age can be seen as just a number. For me, sharing my age is not important, but for others, it can be significant.
How you think and view things can lead others to guess your age, and they might be correct.
As long as numbers exist, age will remain a number, but your mindset shapes how you feel about it.
