I decided to try out something and it worked. It's not my regular cooking though.

This is potato porridge with "wild spinach" (ukazi leaf). I had this leaf excess from making my favorite soup so I had to find a way around it, so it doesn't get spoiled. I will take you through my cooking steps showing you how I prepared it.

Ingredients

• Potatoes
• Pepper
• Crayfish
• Spices
• Water
• Palm oil
• Fish (optional)
•Paprika
•Cumin seed (grinded)

Steps

• Peel and wash potatoes in a clean water, slice to your desired size and put in a pot.IMG_20250227_124524_384.jpg
IMG_20250227_124956_248.jpg• Put in a pot, add water and sliced onions to it and set on fire to cook.
• Blend crayfish and pepper, and them into the pot and cover.IMG_20250227_125050_069.jpg

IMG_20250227_125801_872.jpg•Wash the veggies wit salt and water and add into the potatoes. Cover the pot to simmer of just 2 minutes. Stir and taste

Potatoes are healthy starchy meals that contains potassium, vit. C and B6. It can be cooked in different ways depending on how you want it, plus, it supports heart health due to it's lack of cholesterol.

We have the irish potatoes and the sweet potatoes, both are healthy and nice when eaten fried. I love either fries or porridge and no matter how much you eat, you can get filled with just little.

You can also roast or bake it, the baked is amazing and taste differently from the usual. You can try it out and I hope you enjoy it.
