Tell your Story #30: My Sister is Sick and We went to the Hospital
Hi! This is my entry on the newest contest of the steemladies. I would like to share what happened and what lessons I get from this experience last night.
We went to Ouano's Hospital
We were required to have a face mask when we enter the hospital. The guard ask us about our information and directed us to the triage first. There were first patient in the triage so we waited our turn. The nurse get her blood pressure, thermometer, height and weight. They give an instructions for the urine and complete blood count laboratory.
She was a bit nervous but I just observed her afar. The nurse had a hard time looking for her roots, both two arms. So the nurse get blood from the wrist root. We waited for the result not later than 30 minutes it was released. I have a little bit knowledge in reading cbc and urine result and I conclude normal result for her blood count and urine test.
There are many customers yesternight, while she's waiting for her turn, I paid the bills from her laboratory and check-up fee. I paid approximately 40 STEEMS. It is really expensive to get sick. We were still waiting for the medicine so we can budget our money.
It is not allowed to take photos inside the OPD so I took picture outside. The doctor is very diligent telling us about the illness of my sister. All the laboratories are normal. She has a bacteria on her body. The doctor prescribed her antibiotics and medicine for the allergies for her cough. When we went to the pharmacy, medicines are indeed expensive.
My Lessons for this Experience
Indeed health is wealth. We need to take care ourselves everyday. When we feel a little bit unwell, just rest and observe our body. Let us stay fit and eat well-balanced diet. Let us study foods good for our body.
This has been my entry in a contest in Steem for Ladies.
