The War between Love and Money |
---|
Personal greetings Distinguished Steemians, it is a beautiful thing that we are alive to celebrate Love again. Permit me to officially use this medium and wish my mentor @alexanderpeace a happy International Women's Day in Arrears. Our discussion for today is titled "Can money buy Love?" And I will love to take time in analysing this question so as to make an attempt in ending this daily fight.
In today's modern society, there is no doubt that money is always considered the gate way to excess comfort and security. It gives access to quality education, high standard of living, luxurious budget, and high dining. It is true that being financially stable can help in lessening ones burdens as well as offering practical benefits that can improve the standard of our living.
Despites all of these, when it comes to matter of the heart, Money has its boundaries as it's value diminishes. This is true as love in its pure state is nurtured by trust, genuine connection, understanding and other essential virtues that money cannot purchased.
In the same vein, permit me to acknowledge the fact that a secure financial stability may enable a comfortable atmosphere for relationships, but going extra miles to manufacture emotions, intimacy and compassion is something near impossible. Pure love originates from mutual respect, and heartfelt conversations coupled with shared experiences. I consider it to be the smallest work of kindness and care shown to others from a sincere heart. Love extents to words of comfort and encouragement said to others that builds lasting bonds and intimacy.
Finally, while money can purchase luxurious items and can facilitate many physical aspects of life, it is unable to buy Love as love is priceless. The priceless nature of love is a function of its ability to manage, inspire, heal, and transform. Thus, genuine love built on emotional sincerity, honesty and commitment goes beyond the realm of Money
I invite @donald-roland, @basil20 and @impersonal to tip in their quarters.
