"Photo of the Week Contest 25 | Sharing my best Photo of the Week"

Hello to all my beautiful steemian friends,

Today I am very happy to share another post of mine in the Best Photo of the Week competition organized by @m-fdo in the Steem for Ladies community.

In this picture, my friend is getting ready for the Haldi ritual. It is believed that according to astrology, Jupiter is considered to be the factor of marriage and marital relations.

This is why applying turmeric to the bride and groom before marriage always keeps the married life happy. Also, applying turmeric keeps negative energy away. The auspiciousness of turmeric and its color brings happiness in the life of the couple.

In this ritual, close friends and family members of the bride or groom stand in a queue to apply turmeric to the bride or groom. Gradually this ritual becomes fun and everyone starts applying turmeric to each other.

Then after this ritual, the bride and groom take a ceremonial bath. This ritual also makes the body of the bride or groom glow and purifies them naturally before the wedding.

Around 200 men and women had gathered for my friend's Haldi ritual. Most of the men were wearing yellow clothes and women and girls were also wearing yellow and golden clothes.

All the girls and women were wearing Maang Tikka and symbolic bangles in their hands. This Maang Tikka is worn by married women for the prosperity of their happy married life and girls wear it as a blessing for their upcoming marriage.

In the first picture shown above, both the bride and groom are wearing matching pink color dresses. This area has been decorated very beautifully with flowers for the photo shoot of both of them.

For the photo shoot, both of them have been given guns in their hands, due to which this photo is coming out very beautiful. This photo is taken by my own phone.

This is an emotional and very exciting ritual, especially the bride's side is very emotional in this ritual.
