Recipe of - Hilsa Fish Bhuna

Explanation of My Recipe

My favorite fish is Hilsa, which is also the national fish of Bangladesh. Hilsa is incredibly delicious to eat. Today, I am going to share the recipe of my favorite fish.

So, let’s see how I made Hilsa fish Bhuna.


🐟 Step I

First, I gathered all the necessary ingredients. Then, I took the fish out of the freezer and washed them with normal water. The fish were already cleaned before storing in the freezer, so I didn’t have to put in much effort this time.


🐟 Step II

Now, I finely chopped the onions and green chilies as needed. Then, I placed a pan on the stove and let it heat up. Once hot, I added the required amount of oil. After the oil was heated, I added the chopped onions and green chilies. Then, using a spatula, I stirred them well.

After lightly frying them, I added the required amount of ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, cumin paste, and turmeric powder. Then, I fried them in the oil for a while longer.

Now, I added a little water to the pan and let the spices cook well. I allowed the spices to simmer properly for a few minutes.

Then, I added the pieces of Hilsa fish to the pan. Using the spatula, I mixed the fish well with the spices.

Next, I added a little water and gently stirred the fish. Then, I covered the pan with a lid. At this point, I kept the heat low on the stove.

My Delicious Hilsha Fish Bhuna

After a few minutes, I removed the lid and tasted the dish. The Hilsa fish Bhuna was ready to be served.
