RE: The rise of the Crypto-curious

in SteemLeo5 years ago (edited)

There is definetly an investment side of things that only those of us who are here can explain or understand, most are still scared because of all the "crypto scams". People have been conditioned for so long to believe that they can't do anything to change their situation. If Steemit works, it's like owning penny stock and people need to realize that is how many rich people got rich, by making investments in un-loved projects with huge up-side potential and taking calculated risks. To get the things others don't have one has to be willing to do what others wont do.

However, parting with ones hard earned cash on a maybe isn't for everyone especially if they are living paycheck to paycheck as it is. One of the set backs for buying steem, it would attract more if acquiring steem was simpler and direct and would make it seem more legit to the regular population. The beauty, for those who have nothing to lose, the option of earning ones stake thru hard work and interaction should make people more crypto curious and get to "try before you buy" sort of scenario and familiarize with the crypto concept/making transactions/trading.
