Introduction

Welcome once again to our LID reporting for the next 2 days. We are really grateful to the reporters for working according to the new guidelines. It has really improved the quality of our reports. We will continue to make changes in the future as they become necessary in order to improve the project.

We really want to see more quality reporting from our friends. As you go out today, try to capture interesting and educative activities taking place in your area. Also try to look for opportunities to create content. For example, you can visit the nearest market even if you do not have anything doing there to see how the traders and buyers are doing business. You capture activities in the market. Or you can simply walk into a shopping mall to take a look around. Try to capture activities going on there too even if you have not come to make a purchase. In this way, you have content to create and report for LID.

General tips for Quality Reeporting

• Engagement: This is top priority. Make sure that each time you drop a LID report, try to reply at least 1 other persons report. Short phrase and 1 sentence replies wont count. make sure to reply to specific things mentioned in the report.

• Spotlight: Capture a great spotlight. make sure nothing is obstructing your view of the image. Try to capture your sptolight when there is sufficient visibility so that we can see your spotlight well. Remember to add location coordinates to your images to make them verifiable.

• When to Start: It is best to start early in the morning as soon as the LID post drops. Be sure to cover the 3 reporting periods so as to have your price with you. You can see the 3 reporting periods below::

Morning: 5.30am - 11.59am
Afternoon: 12 noon - 3.59pm
Evening: 4pm-11.59pm

• Length of Reports: We want you to make a detailed report each time you participate in this contest. So make sure your reports are not too brief. A rich paragraph will make a quality LID report. Please be sure to make the length of your reports at least 70 words long.
  

Spotlight for Today 5/8/2021

For today our spotlight is: Engine oil brand. You can go to an oil dealer and capture an engine oil with the name clearly visible on the container. Remember that each spotlight must have a What3words location Coordinates.
