SteemAlive State Representative's(SSR) Report for the Period 1st Nov - 6th Nov
Introduction
The State Representatives which is a modification of the City Cordinators Are individuals saddled with the responsibility of making sure that activities such as recruitment, engagement,road show and other forms of awareness about Steemit are always in high gear in their various States.
As the State Representative for Abia State.It is important that I live up to expectation so as keep our community-steemalive in the fore-front.Here are list of my activities within the 7 days under review.
Steem Road Show
The road show has been one of the most potent ways to promote Steemit.Abia State was among the first few States that started the road show.We did it under the sun and in the rain,and has continued to do so.
On Tuesday the 2nd October,Aba city had a road show where we splitted the promoters into two groups.I told @peterabagi to lead the other team while I led my own team to St Michaels Road for the awareness.The other team led by @ladyofpolicy in Umuahia city,still under Abia state had their road show on Saturday 6th Nov,2021.
In the course of the road show in Aba city.I personally registered @emma80 and @wisdom10 while the other members of my team also registered atleast one person each.

Mentoring the Newbies
It is obvious that we recruit and sign up the newbies along the road during the road show.It is not always easy to teach them everything they needed to know about Steemit at that spot.To make it easier,I will collate the phone numbers of the newbies,join them to our Steemalive Reception WhatsApp group and run an online class for them basically on how to sign in,make post and other relevant things.I also guide them on how to successfully join the Curation Trail.
Verification of New Members
Inorder to make sure that posts made in Steemalive community is free from plagiarism,properly detailed and well formated with justify alignment.Users that satisfy the aforementioned conditions are given the labelverified.
I have labelled over 30 members in the community within the last 7 days.Being verified gives the user the confidence that he/she is bonafied member of SteemAlive Community.Here is a screenshot of the members that I have verified so far.
Plans for The Week
We shall continue with promotional activities in the new week.We couldn't arrange a road show on Friday because of the sit-at-home order that kept everyone sitter at home.However,there are reports that it has been suspended and so we shall embark on a road show this week Tuesday.Other efforts geared towards promoting Steemit will also continue to hold water.
Conclusion
I am using this opportunity to encourage our members to embrace the #club5050 initiative to boost their SteemPower.I have joined the club already and have also attained the #clubdolphin.
I wish to commend our founder @focusnow for always doing his best to promote and support the community.He has always been an amazing leader.
