DIARY GAME: 04/10/2020 diary game @sambee/Sunday things.
He rested on the sabbath day.
Sunday is a day mount out for resting day, after working from Monday till Saturday, we reat on Sunday, even the bible said God rested on the 7th day.
It all started early in the morning, as I woke up early in the morning to start preparing for church service. It was around 5:00am after my morning prayer, I started preparing stew for sunday rice. I need to do so because i was so tired yesterday, so i couldnt prepare the stew then I decided to prepare it before going to church.
I arrived at church an hour before the service start. It was a Praise sunday in my church. The service was awesome.
The sumon was Understanding the power of praise. (Let me say little about it).
Firstly what is praise in a biblical definition?.
-Praise is a communication between God and man.
- Praise is to express approval or admiration of, commend, extol to offer grateful homage to God as in words or song.
How do we understand the power of praise? You can go to the book of 2 Chronicles 20, this book tells you how Jehoshaphat and gge army of Judah chose to celebrate God even before the victory has been won, and not a single enemy troop was able to survive such a mighty weapon.
- Declare who God is
- Recount what God has done
- Remember His promises
- In humility, ask for help
- Praise Him
All these keys are how you understand the power of praise.
Let me stop here, i will write about the topic in my next post, will help you to understand what praise does in our lives.
After the sumon we had some session of praise and worship, and the prayer for offering was said.

During the offering session.
After the church service, i went home without not delay because i have a conference meeting to attend.

It was a wonderful one, i have ever experince. After the meeting, i went home, spend sometime with my family before saying good night to them.
Thats come to end of my day.

God morning, what a detailed and clearly stated report. Serving God is the best thing any human can do, He been a wonderful God to me. Hope you prayed for us in church. Pleases my heart and gives me joy, when I hear a youth serving God. Please keep it up
Yea, he who dont make God first in all doing is an empty life. God first in everything, there is nothing one can gain if earning everything on this beautiful world and lose Heaven.
so in everything thing, we keep praising God because he alone is the source of our Joy and Life today.

There is victory in praise.
When you praise God and thank him for the previous doing, he will always do more. A grateful heart doesn't lack testimonies.
But the social distancing is really strong in your church oooo.

Thanks for that @boss75. Yes of course we always go with the rules or COVID 19. From the picture at service you can see there is a enough distance between each other.

Wonderful Sunday indeed. You really are doing great in worshipping God. But do you think Sunday is the 7th day of the week? Our worship of God is no longer dependent on days. It is now on a daily basis. Bit you might spend more time in a particular day depending on your schedule. Hope you were able to prepare the rice as planned? Nice diary you've got here. Thanks ma, yea we worship very day but sunday is mount out as special day everybody who coulnt make it other day to go church. I know we can worship at any where we find ourselves but am referring being the church.

Hello @sambee nice reading from you after a while. Sundays are always great days full of soul enriching moments in the presence of the Lord. It is always good to praise, worship and thank God even not on Sundays but at every moment of our lives. He's done so much for us so its necessary to say thank you God at anytime. Thanks for sharing.
