The diary game season 3. 11th April 2021| How I spent my Sunday

Hello Steemians! Good evening from this part of the world. I'm so excited to make this post today. This is my second time of posting on steemit and I really look forward to post more because after my first introductory post, it took me time to come up with this but going through this platform, I've come to realise that this platform is an interesting one. I've learned a lot already and so open to learn more. There's no dull moments in STEEMIT. I've met amazing people here.

So back to the way I spent my day being Sunday, the 11th day of April 2021. Sunday is always my best day in the week. Everybody around me knows this. It's a day I joke with because I get to worship God in church and also meet my lovely friends that I miss during week days. I get to see them every day due to distance. Sunday gives me the opportunity to meet all of them. They are my family and they mean so much to me
They are the people I share my problem with and they support me so much. This is what true friendship is all about, people yhat gad your back always.

Let me take you into my Sunday journey, I really did enjoy my day and I wish you join me by reading through.
As usual on Sunday morning for me, I woke up by 5am with the help of my alarm. At first I was confused, you know that state you're half awake and half asleep ( some people can relate) before I gained my consciousness. I jumped out from bed. I started getting ready immediately, the reason being that I don't want to go late to church and my place is a bit far to church. I stay in Ikoyi while my church is in Yaba. My fellow Lagos people will know the distance. My 6am I was already on my way to church.

Service started by 7:30am. I enjoyed every bit of the service. From opening prayer to praise and worship, sermon, choir ministration. Like everything in church.

This is a picture of my church pulpit. You see! It's a beautiful place to be on a Sunday morning. The atmosphere it carries alone is amazing.

After the worship session which I enjoyed so much, I was just jumping for joy. My pastor started preaching. The preaching was mind blowing. He spoke on becoming a fruit bearing believer. This should be our daily practice because every human being should be able to bear fruit, reproduce. Life could be so frustrating if you are not making progress at all.

Highlight of the message

God ordained every man to be fruitful. The capacity to bear fruit is within everybody.
If you can't reproduce as a living being then you're not alive.
Work on your character, it has a lot to do with your fruit bearing.
If you're corrupt, you can't bear fruit.
You were created unique, don't try to copy no one.
Work on yourself and become the best.
Seek and know God for yourself.

That's just part of the message, I was really blessed.

The most interesting part of today is that I we had a brief steemit training after church organised by @talktofaith to help some us new comers to understand how the community works. In the meeting, I was able to ask her some questions about steemit communities which gave birth to this post. She signed all of us in this picture below to join steemit.

I got home very late. I showered, rested for a while, though I was hungry because I had nothing to eat all day, just drinking water all through but that nap was more important. I started looking for where to buy chicken. I've been craving that for days. Frozen chicken I mean. Most places were not opened due to the fact that today is weekend.
I was tired and hungry on the road. I finally saw where to buy.

It was getting dark already and I don't like cooking at night so I ended up buying this to eat so we'll continue the cooking tomorrow.
