Contest Winners; Life After School

in Teachers & Students2 months ago

It had been an incredible ride on all your posts; those heartfelt entries shared in the Life After School contest were expressions of dreams, struggles, and triumphs that come with living beyond the four walls of the classroom and night study classes to face the unpredictable world beyond. After a long day of personal brainstorming debate on the prize winners, I am excited to announce the three prize winners whose entry stood out to captivate me.

WINNERS

@spektro223 stated that the question of life after school is mind-bothering for students from challenging families, especially when they are sent to school with an expectation to raise the family, and this had diverted the interest of one-time university aspirants to businesses. He answered the yes and no question as to why education may or may not be a scam. He shared skills like freelancing, Web3 jobs, and self-employment which graduates and undergraduates can rely on as they seek employment opportunities; he loves venturing into a physical business more than trading crypto with less experience.

@hudamalik20, This post was very elaborate; she is a student who will soon get her BS degree, and she spoke of how she will hunt for a job after completing her degree. To her, education is not a scam but a roadmap to real-life experiences. To her, Steemit could be rated 100% for providing jobs for graduates. Her business mindset is on setting up a jewellery shop, as recent inquiry shows how prolific they are.

@shahid76 is a graduate and never expected a good job after school due to lack of preparation; this has moved me to encourage undergraduates to make adequate preparation for a "life after school". He doesn't subscribe to the saying that school is a scam and encourages students to learn online skills, as this can make them successful in sites like Upwork, Fiverr, Amazon and Steemit. I can relate to his online business strategy, which is a shopping business site that looks like Jumia, where people can order whatever they like.

I really appreciate those participants who showed interest in this contest, and I encourage them to stay tuned for the next contest, which I will be hosting soon.

Rewards will be sent soon

Special thanks to the CO-reward sponsor.
