SLC-S23/W4 | Communication Keys
Hello Steemian friends! On this occasion, I would like to participate in one of the Steemit Learning Challenge, which is to understand the key as a communication tool.
In scouting terms, this is known as cipher theory. A password is a secret communication tool that is only known by certain people, so it is not easily broken by others.
Of course, to create or read a password, we need to understand the formulas so that the secret message can be deciphered easily. In this lesson, I learned three simple ciphers: the bat cipher, the cat cipher, and the Cenit Polar cipher.
The three ciphers I mentioned above are familiar to me and are quite easy to implement in daily communication activities or to crack secret messages.
However, my experience with ciphers didn't stop there. My friends and I once created a new cipher that we named the pyramid cipher.
Another cipher that I found very interesting was the shadow cipher. This cipher utilizes shadows to convey a message. The trick is to write the message on blank paper using rice or rice. The message will not be visible unless it is read in sunlight, where the shadows from the rice will form letters or symbols.
In learning ciphers, understanding the formulas and techniques is the most important thing so that we will have no difficulty in deciphering the secret messages given.
On this occasion, I would also like to answer the four assignments given in this course. So, let's get on with it and complete the assignments.
1️⃣ First task, crack the password and confirm via telegram
The first assignment was to crack the Murciélago cipher or bat cipher, fortunately, I managed to crack the cipher and send a confirmation code to the course organizer via his telegram to confirm. ✅ cc. @karianaporras

This week's course teaches us about how ciphers can be a means of communication or a secret message, the Cenit Polar cipher is an easy-to-use cipher, which makes it difficult if you misplace the letters which can make the translation different.
