"SLC | S21W2: Effective Classroom Management"

in Teachers & Studentsyesterday

Hello Everyone
This is @max-pro from, #Bangladesh

Assalamu Alaikum friends hope you all are well. By the grace of Allah I am also well. Today I'm off to participate in the first contest of Week 2 of the Steemit Learning Challenge. Our teacher @fantvwiki has organized a contest on this wonderful SLC | S21W2: Effective Classroom Management topic. Thank him for that. I will participate in this contest by answering few questions.

To the best of your knowledge, what is effective classroom management, and what does it have to do with planning, implementing, evaluating learning, and utilizing resources optimally? Explain the relationship of each of these points using your language.

This is a very ethical question. Only a teacher can answer it correctly. But I will share some sentences according to the lesson given by our teacher. Effective classroom management refers to a process whereby teacher management ensures classroom discipline, student focus and an effective learning environment. It makes the teaching process more constructive and productive for teachers. Planning, implementation, assessment of learning and use of resources are closely related to effective classroom management. Detailed explanation of each point is shown below.

The plan1000001698.jpgpixabay

The first step in classroom management is proper planning. Student learning involves planning what content will be taught and how it will be taught. For example, planning should be done keeping in mind the needs, abilities and learning objectives of the students. As a result, the teacher can create a well-organized environment in the classroom which is conducive to effective teaching.

Implementation1000001699.jpgSource

Effective methods are to be used to implement the plan. For example, dividing learning time adequately, involving students in activities and maintaining a learning environment through discipline. By implementing effective classroom management, teachers can create a positive and focused classroom environment that helps students retain interest and attention in learning.

Assessing the effectiveness of student learning in the classroom is an important part of classroom management. It allows teachers to understand student learning strengths and weaknesses through various assessment methods. Through accurate assessment, teachers can modify their planning and implementation strategies to meet students' learning needs and improve classroom management.

Optimum utilization of resources1000001700.pngSource

Classroom management requires teachers to ensure optimal use of resources. Such as learning materials, technology, classroom seating arrangement and proper use of time. I think in this way the teachers can carry out the learning activities in the classroom more easily and effectively.

Effective classroom management is therefore a continuous process in which planning, implementation, assessment of learning and use of resources are interrelated and conducive to improving the quality of education.

How do you go about creating a classroom atmosphere that supports the learning process?, he explanation you give is based on personal experience that did.

Creating a classroom environment involves adopting measures that support the learning process of students. Following are some effective methods that will help create a positive and collaborative learning environment in the classroom.

Clear rules and expectations should be set for student behavior in the classroom. Such as coming to class on time, being respectful to classmates, and being focused on learning, etc.

  • The teacher should build relationships with the students by maintaining a positive attitude and mutual respect. Students will be more motivated if they feel that their opinions and needs are being valued.

  • Students should be encouraged to actively participate in the classroom. For example, they can be engaged through discussion, group work and various learning activities. Thus students are interested in acquiring new knowledge and skills and this makes their learning process more meaningful.

A variety of creative and stimulating teaching materials should be used in the classroom. Like using visual aids, models, technology based teaching materials. Such materials increase students' interest in learning and help in understanding difficult topics easily.

  • Students' learning progress should be assessed regularly and advice should be provided accordingly. In this students can know about their weaknesses and strengths and can take necessary steps for their improvement.

Neat classroom arrangement and space management Proper planning is essential to maintain seating arrangement and order in the classroom. For example, the seating arrangement should be done in such a way that the students can easily interact with each other and the teacher can give attention to all the students.

According to your experience and observations, what factors can hinder effective classroom management? Explain why these things are a hindrance.

There are some common issues and challenges that can hinder effective classroom management that affect students' learning process and teacher's teaching process. According to my experience and observations these issues create significant barriers to effective classroom management.

Unclear rules and lack of discipline..

Students may misbehave in the classroom if classroom rules and expectations are not clear. If there is a lack of discipline in the classroom, students cannot concentrate on their studies and the classroom environment is disrupted.

Lack of adequate teacher preparation..

If the teacher is not properly prepared for the class, it becomes difficult to hold the attention of the students. Lack of planning and shortage of necessary teaching materials hampers effective teaching process resulting in students losing motivation and chaos in the classroom.

Stress and anxious environment..

If students feel too stressed or anxious in the classroom, they cannot easily concentrate on the learning process. High stressful environment creates anxiety in students which reduces their confidence and interest in learning.

Lack of adequate teaching materials in the classroom.

Lack of necessary materials such as projectors, internet connections, notebooks, boards, textbooks or technological equipment hinders effective teaching in the classroom.

Lack of positive relationship between teacher and student..

If there is a lack of mutual respect and relationship between the teacher and the student, the students are not interested in following the teacher's instructions. In such an environment, students are hesitant to express their opinions and have trouble maintaining discipline under the teacher's guidance. If these issues are dealt with properly, it is possible to create a healthy and conducive learning environment in the classroom.

Effective classroom management has a relationship with the Learning Contract? What do you think about this, explain comprehensively according to your thoughts.

I have pondered this question deeply. Yes, learning engagement has an important relationship with effective classroom management. A learning contract is a negotiated agreement between student and teacher that clearly defines learning goals, expectations, and responsibilities. It will be quite helpful for effective classroom management. However, there are a few aspects to be aware of.

1000001704.jpgSource

The learning contract sets a common standard of responsibility and discipline between student and teacher. As expected behavior and responsibilities are clear, students know what behavior is expected of them and how they can maintain order in the classroom. Learning contracts encourage students to actively participate in the learning process. When students are able to define their learning goals and expectations through agreement, they develop a sense of interest and responsibility for learning. This makes them more sincere towards classroom management.

Learning contracts are helpful not only for students but also for teachers. If the contract specifies the teacher's responsibilities and areas of support for the students, the teacher can help them according to their specific needs. This further consolidates the teacher's management skills in the classroom and ensures a supportive environment for student learning. Learning contracts provide a framework for students to learn individually and in groups. It inculcates cooperation, mutual respect and sense of responsibility among them which is an important element of classroom management.

The learning contract is therefore a powerful component of effective classroom management. Because it builds a clear relationship and framework of expectations between student and teacher. It provides a coherent framework for discipline, accountability, active participation, and assessment that ensures a supportive classroom environment for learning. So I discussed my ideas according to our teacher's lesson. Hope you can understand.

So I am Inviting my lovely Steemian friends @zisha-hafiz, @stef1, @irawandedy, @kouba01, @selina1 to Participate in this Competition.

Thank You So Much For Reading My Blog.

To apply the teaching method, first of all we have to take a deep look at the effective education system. Otherwise, it is not possible to achieve the educational program properly and it is not possible to achieve 100% learning results. If discipline, regularity, motivation, focus on lessons, etc. are not implemented in the classroom, it is not possible to expect proper results at the end of the lessons. If we expect 100% education results from the students. So now we have to do in depth on effective education system. We need to identify learning gaps and address them. Then our education system is complete.
