Hi steemians...
High school students throughout Indonesia are currently preparing to enter State Universities. After a few days ago thousands of students graduated through the National Selection Based on Achievement. The National Selection for New Student Admissions to enter state universities in 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia opened two selection paths. The two paths are national selection based on achievement and national selection based on tests. The SNBP path is specifically for students who have academic achievements through the eligible system in their respective schools. Meanwhile, the SNBT path is through the Computer-Based Written Examination.

Currently, the registration process for the National Selection Based on Tests is still open until March 27, 2025. After participants register for SNBT, later these students will take the Computer-Based Written Examination from April 23 to May 3, 2025. Most participants who take part in the UTBK SNBT test are students who are not eligible. Added to this are participants who have not succeeded in entering state universities through the previous SNBP path. Although the implementation time of the Computer Based Test Exam is still a long way off, participants must prepare themselves and study from now on. Participants must understand the outline of the material and questions that will come out during the exam so that they do not have difficulty in answering the questions.

To make it easier for test participants to face the UTBK, the 2025 national selection committee for new student admissions has officially issued a framework or question outline. The computer-based written exam questions will consist of two types of tests, namely the Scholastic Potential Test and the Literacy Test. What materials must participants study to prepare for the UTBK? The following is a breakdown of the material and questions for the computer-based test:

Scholastic Potential Test

The Scholastic Potential Test is a test designed to measure participants' thinking abilities. Participants' ability to reason which is needed to pursue formal education at a university will be tested. The scholastic potential test consists of the following subtests:

General Reasoning
General reasoning consists of questions that assess participants' way of solving new problems that they have never faced. In addition, abstract reasoning abilities will also be tested in this subtest.

General Knowledge and Understanding
General knowledge is very important in assessing how much participants care about the Indonesian cultural environment. The questions in this subtest contain questions that test practical knowledge in language, information, and specific language-based concepts.

Reading and Writing Comprehension
The questions in this subtest contain tests of participants' reading abilities, reading fluency, and writing skills. In addition, participants will work on questions on understanding written discourse and writing stories.

Quantitative Knowledge
Participants need to master mathematical formulas to be able to solve questions in this subtest. Participants must learn a lot of mathematical formulas because the quantitative knowledge subtest will test the ability to absorb quantitative information and solve calculations to problem solving through mathematics.

In the Indonesian and English literacy subtests, participants are required to complete questions in the form of general texts, science and technology texts, literary texts, and social humanities texts. The materials that must be studied and mastered by participants to complete this subtest include: exploring and expressing information in readings, combining information and interpreting the meaning of readings, appreciating literary works (in youth novels), interpreting and analyzing explanatory elements of readings. Then interpreting and analyzing explanatory elements of readings, and analyzing and evaluating reviews (discussion objects) in readings.

Mathematical Reasoning

In the mathematical reasoning subtest, participants are invited to dive into numeracy or mathematics questions. This test aims to test participants' ability to understand mathematical concepts in solving various problems and using classroom experiences to solve problems. Mathematical reasoning questions involve four measurement domains, namely numbers, measurement and geometry, uncertainty and data, and algebra.
