Greetings distinguished readers and all lovers of knowledge, @miftahulrizky has made us crossed paths again via the "Education Map Contest" so as to ensure that @pennsif Steem-atlas project sees success. In other to tender in my support, I present to us the Prestigious Nigerian Christian secondary Schools.

Nigerian Christian Secondary School abbreviated as NCSS is a secondary school that was founded in the year 1964 and is located in Ukpom, Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Nestled in the center of Ukpom, Abak, NCSS stands out not just as a beacon of learning, but a citadel of academic excellence, spiritual vitality and general holistic development.

NCSS has a serene environment occupied by towered trees, green vegetations, nice topography and well maintained buildings all contributing to deeper sense of learning and discipline both on the part of the learners and students alike. From my observation, every parts of the school has a unique story surrounded with great significance. Stories of resilience, commitment, sacrifices, dedication and hope of a better future shaped with responsibilities.

In other to ensure that this better future is secured, the school comprises of different infrastructures and facilities while helps in the smooth running of the school academic and administrative services. There is no doubt that the various equipment contributes effectively towards creating a thriving and enabling community where learners can grow intellectually, socially, psychologically and spiritually.

This work will make an attempt in giving a descriptive analysis of Nigerian Christian Secondary School by highlighting the following infrastructures and facilities, stating clearly their significance.

Facility	Significance
Classroom:	The Foundation of Intellectual stability

Nigerian Christian Secondary School has an array of class room blocks and this is where the magic of learning takes place. The classroom blocks are of different sizes, colours and structures. As an old building built in the 90s, there are unique touches of the past. Here, This ancient buildings serves as a tourist site for those who finds delight in seeing how houses where built in the 90s.

Also, there are arrays of modern structures that are well painted with a warm colors so as to set the tone for an ambient learning environment. Each blocks contains well spacious classrooms characterized by the Africa setting. In addition to.the space, are large windows which plays significant roles in the ventilation aspect of the school

In these classrooms where notice board used to pass information within the school environment. I have no doubt that they would be a rhythmic noise of the chalk while writting on the blackboard owing to the nature of the board. However, all this contributes in promoting an inviting atmosphere for learning.

Playground:	A Space of Joy and Friendship

I have no doubt that the management of this school hold closes to the philosophy that says that *"All learning and no play makes Jay a Dull student" and this is evidenced in their provision of playground for the students. The school play ground is a realm of laughter, joy and an arena for building relationships. A wide area of land characterized with the present of scattered grass is dedicated to the students for variety forms of games.

On my opinion, this playground is more than just a venue for playing. Rather it is where friendships are forged, teamwork promoted, and most importantly, an healthy lifestyle nurtured. What a place of interest and cooling off.

Library:	The Castle of knowledge and imagination

Taking into consideration that many students may not have the money to purchase all needed materials and resources needed, NCSS provide their students with a mini school Library capable of helping the secondary school students navigate their ways out of complexities.

As I stepped into the school library, I had no doubt but to key into the philosophy that says "stepping into the school library is like entering into a world of knowledge" the well arranged reading space and books on the shelves are potential testament to this regard. The calmness and silence of the Library is designed such that enables the shovelling sounds of books to be heard.

ICT Room:	Unlocking the World of Information

In today's world where technology is gradually taking over everything, Nigerian Christian Secondary School are well ready to faced the future as they prepares their students for the future. The computer room which contains about 50 computers is a well equipped environment where students learn how to solve basic operations using the computer.

The tenderly soft seats makes me remember school days when we make serious race on who enters the computer room first. In this room, the demarcation between traditional method of learning and the 21st century pattern of learning is bridged this bringing the students more closer to the future. I have no doubt but to salute the administrators for helping young minds to navigate the ever changing complexities of life.

Field:	The Arena for making Champions

There is a developing football field at the center of the school premises. This field has two big net less goal post situated at both end of the field. I noticed that the ground bears numerous footprints signifying that this field is never at rest as both the students and members of the society comes here to play football often.

In addition to this, the field is also used for track events during inter House competition in the school. Beyond the realm of sport, the field being a spacious area of land is most times used by staff and members of the community for one a event or the other provided proper consultation is being freedom

Water System:	Sustaining Life and Good Hygiene

The importance of water can't be hidden as it cut across all spheres of life. Watering of hands by the teachers, flushing of the restroom, watering of the school farm, drinking by interested students and washing after farm work are all potential Importance of water in the NCSS environment.

With this, the school makes provision for overhead water tanks and taps so as to enhance effectiveness running of the school system. The water is designated at various positions in the school. In my opinion, an environment where education and health harnesses, there is great potentials of achieving the greatest heights

Power Supply:	powering a brighter and better future

Considering the dormitory own by the school, the laboratory and administrative offices, there's great need for a power supply. To achieve this, the school owns a generator coupled with a source from the PHED.

With this facilities, there's a flow and smooth running of the computer rooms, school science laboratory and other facilities that requires light. In my opinion, the presence of this power supply indicates resilience, and the school commitment in ensuring that the students obtains the best education

Assembly Ground:	A daily ritual of devotion

In addition to the aforementioned facilities, the school assembly Ground is another uniques feature of the school. It is a spot where students gather on a daily basis to say words of prayers for the day and as well recite the national anthem.

Other activities include; words of admonition, announcement and various social club display if any. The assembly ground is more than just a meet ground. It is a place where characters are mould and relationships are built through the continuous coming together of students.

The school Farm:	Building skills and food

Another place to watch out for in Nigerian Christian Secondary School is the school farm where skills and food comes to meet together. This school farm is a true testament to the importance of agriculture in the national development.

The school soil is highly rich and suits the Cultivation of varieties of crops such as cassava, pepper, okro, vegetables though in a small scale. Beyond academics the farm instills a sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial lifestyle in the students making them to be job creators and not job hunters. In my opinion, it is a classroom where things learned theoretical are been applied.

The School mini Forest:	The Hub for relaxation and recreation

Nigerian Christian Secondary owns a mini Forest well decorated by trees and different heights a d breadth. The forest serves a point of relaxation recreation to the students and staff especially during a hot sunny day.

The forest does not only serve as a point of relaxation, but as an open classroom where students learn about Biodiversity, bird chirp, and an insight on the ecosystem.

Laboratory:	The Realm of scientific discovery

The NCSS laboratory is a small building consisting of differing rooms where chemicals and other scientific apparatus are kept. There's also an open hall consisting of tables and stools.

Here, experiments and practicals are been carried out by the students and other researchers. The biological science and the physical science shares the same Room but their apparatus are kept in different cupboards.
