Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S21 - W5: which is all time my favourite topic “Mini Research for Students" this amazing challenge organised by @miftahulrizky . So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic.

Today I choose a topic for students to do a short research, which is the main problem of today's society. Every 80% youth, whether adults, is suffering from this problem and due to which their family has to sacrifice many things. Their desires, their self-respect. Therefore, it is very important to make the youth aware of this problem from their youth and to avoid it and about its serious consequences. The topic of research is "drug addiction".
Research should be done by students on this topic because when a youth will do research on this topic and understand its serious consequences, then he can help himself and many people related to him to keep away from this addiction and this will be a very positive step for the society, because in whose house there are such drug addicts, ask their family what is the financial, family or social condition of the house. How many compromises do they have to make to fulfill their needs.
Because people get addicted to drugs from their youth, the biggest reason for this is bad company and someone has rightly said that bad company is such a poisonous seed that spreads poison everywhere, so when a youth will feel and understand this serious issue himself and will see many people suffering from it, then somewhere he will definitely try to stay away from the bad company around him.

How does one get addicted to drugs.
What are the serious consequences of drug addiction.
How does one get addicted to drugs.
Now to do a short research, the youth want to know the answers to some questions. Because no one is like this from childhood, some circumstances, environment or say bad company are such that it leads a person towards misdeeds. Because evil attracts people towards itself quickly.
To lead someone on the right path, a lot of hard work is required. But a person sets out on the wrong path very quickly, because when people lose their ability to think, they start listening to what others say. They are unable to decide between right and wrong. Such people fall into such addiction very quickly.
Some questions related to how one gets addicted to drugs are as follows.
When you took drugs for the first time, you did not feel that it was wrong. Clarify some things about your mental state.
Did you know how harmful drug addiction can be for your health?
Due to drugs, if your dreams did not come true, you never thought about it.
And the most important question is, due to drugs, how much part of your earnings, which is your hard-earned money, are you spending on drugs along with your health. Clarify what you have to say about this.
What are the serious consequences of drug addiction?
What serious consequences can you face due to drug addiction?
Share your thoughts about how drug addiction can harm your health.
Describe the social and economic condition of a person's family due to his addiction.

The best way to propagate any message or information is through social media.You can express your views freely on social media and also share all kinds of details.
You can also promote it by printing pamphlets and distributing them among people.
Nowadays, through street plays, people also convey the message and tell about the ill-effects of the evils prevalent in the society by portraying good characters.
Through this blog of mine, I want to spread awareness about the ill effects of the social evil drug addiction.

While doing research, our students found that nowadays people are troubled by many types of drug addiction and due to which their family's economic condition has been very adversely affected and the most affected is their mental condition. Nowadays, even the youth is not untouched by drug addiction. Be it cigarette, masala or alcohol, they are using it as a fashion and this is where the ruin of youth starts.
On doing research, it was also found that they have this habit with their friends. One unique thing that was found out in the research here is that a person who is addicted to drugs finds a lot of excuses to do drugs. Even if he is very happy, he will drink, even if he is sad, he will drink.
So the conclusion is that whatever the circumstances, if he wants to do drugs, he will do it. He just blames the circumstances, because he has no control over his will power. He does not see his future, present, family. When the drug gets to his head, the drug makes a good man dance on its fingers.
According to your observations, what are the weaknesses of the students during this research, and what are your steps in developing their analytical skills in the future? |

During the research, the weakness of the students or in other words, the problem that they faced was that it sometimes becomes very difficult to know the correct answers to these questions from a drug addict, whose mind is not in balance, and to understand his mental state. Because the drug addict does not feel that doing drugs is wrong. Because it is very difficult or impossible to understand a person who is addicted to drugs.
• Students may have difficulty in understanding the mental state of a drug addict, because everyone's circumstances are different.
• It is a very difficult task to question a drug addict.
- A drug addict loses control over anger very quickly and students may have to face a very big problem.
Some tasks for students to develop analytical skills are as follows:
- Students should form a group of their own, so that they do not have any problem in questioning such people.
- Students should be given a training in a school that how they can find out and adjust with such people.
And you will impress everyone with your art of speaking.
It is necessary for the students to have complete knowledge about the side effects of drug addiction. So that they can understand their matter well and contribute to social development.
Thus, during the research we have focused on a social problem which can also prove helpful in contributing to social development. If anyone benefits from such activities, then research and discussion can have successful results.

Reading from the beginning of your post I was lost because I found the research topic you chose for the students vague. It was not specific but when I read further I realised you were more specific to drugs addiction and its consequences. This is a vital topic given the rate at which youths are addicted to drugs nowadays. In Cameroon this has led to violence within the school milieu with students going to the extent of killing their teachers and friends due to drugs influence.
